1. Words fail me... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tripple-Fret-Guitar-/191394497356?pt=UK_Musical_Instruments_Guitars_CV&hash=item2c9000434c
2. Sorry to be the bearer but you will be lucky if it goes in your favour. I sold an item and sent it recorded delivery. It was signed for at the address but the buyer said they hadn't received it. I got copies of the signature and all details possible from the courier. Ebay said I could not prove that the buyer actually received it and refunded their money from my paypal account. The courier insurance would not pay out as they had proof of delivery. It seems ebay now relies on the honesty of the buyer and if they choose to scam you they can. I do not now sell on ebay and if I did it would be cash on collection only...
3.
Hi, can't seem to find much information on this. In need of a micro amp so interested. Can you supply any further info? Thanks, Mark
Theres a few threads on here about Ibanez Promethean, Redsub and the HB. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/168416-another-promethean-clone/page__st__270__p__2217825__hl__promethean%20harley%20benton__fromsearch__1#entry2217825
4. Now £275.00. If it doesn't sell this weekend, I've decided to have the electrical fault repaired and either keep it or put the price back up. Aria Pro SB-1200. Difficult to find much info on these but according to the very little available, I believe only 8 were ever made in Japan between 1989 and 1991. I know that sounds odd but thats what I found. http://gfyfe.com/sb1200.htm https://sites.google...ite/teesquared/ Fretboard: Ebony / 24Frets Scale: 860mm (34") Neck: Neck-thru Body. Pickups: P-J Bartolini's Controls: Volume, Balance, Active Treble, Active Bass Weight: just under 9lbs It has some minor wear as you would expect, most noticeably near the P pickup. When I got it one of the pickup selections had a hissy sort of noise. It still has. I have not tried to fix it as it hasn't bothered me. It may need cleaning or a new pot, I honestly dont know but I dont think its a big fix. Will throw in a padded gigbag too... May trade but only 4 string basses please. Quite fancy a semi acoustic, maybe even a Telecaster guitar. Will get pics up asap.
5. At last! An honest seller selling a fake! Well, sort of... http://www.ebay.co.u...=item4ade8439ee
6. I would rather pay five grand for that than a grand for a fake 1969 Fender P though...
7. I would do but I think I upset him! When he answered, I answered him with a message meant for somebody else! Basically, when you put his answer and my reply to it together, I ripped the p*ss out of the bass! Weil, another unhappy yank to the list...
8. The reply... A glare. The bass looks almost mint. I'm happy to do 1250 plus actual shipping cost if you pay a PayPal invoice. Are you in the UK?
9. I've mailed him asking what the mark above the pickup is... Will post what he says if he replies.
10. Gareth just bought a bass off me. No messing, fast payment and hassle free deal. No worries here lads... Cheers Dunc
11. Excellent DI pedal. Emulates the sound of the World Tour Series well. Like new with power supply. Price includes UK postage. Can post pics but it looks just like a stock photo!
12. Tried reporting again after the sale to say the buyer has been conned... Not holding my breath though!
13.
About a week, tops.
I thought as much...
14. I've been hunting down the 'right' basses for a years now but it seems the hunt is over... I'm sort of involved in two projects which I need different basses for. One is - a bunch of old mates hammering out Clash songs. I hunted for the 'right' P bass for years and eventually realised my JV is the 'one' and I cant fault it. I was using it as a back up bass! It truly is a magnificent instrument. That replaced my 79. I got a really nice Squier tele bass delivered off here today and that is more than adequate for a backup. So, that has replaced the JV. All problems solved. The other project is an originals band that I need at least 22 frets for. This project has gone on since 1987! We hardly ever play but I suppose its grown on me that much that I still keep on going back to it every couple of years! I suppose its part of me now. Anyway, after years of chopping and changing, I recently managed to get hold of a Westone Thunder 3 again (I had originally used one with them but stupidly sold it). So, first bass is now well and truly sorted and I also have an Aria SB-1200 as a backup (which is probably a bit ott to be honest). I'm more than happy with them but the question still looms - How long will it last...? I cant help but think I'm fooling myself...
15.
Very wrong! Reported Edit 2: I have to say they are the nastiest tuners I've ever seen
They look like they've been battered on by a cooper... Not battered by a copper... but you never know...
16. It looks as good as a Westfield with a wrinkly decal though...
17. If I come up with the cash I'll need a good hiding place for it...
18.
But he's throwing in a tuner!
Bet it's the towel next
