1. Interested in any trades?
2.
It looks kinda unhappy to me....
It's a very sad bass...
3. It's probably worth it as the lacquer isn't crackled like most.
4. Or maybe it was a buy it now with best offer?
5. I'm sure one sold on eBay in excess of £300 last year. I would buy it myself but unfortunately it doesn't have enough frets for what I need...
6.
lots of us have, but unless you're selling a fake Rolex Ebay don't seem to care.
Too true. Fender don't seem to care either!
7. Reported it to eBay as a fake and for copyright infringement. Hopefully they will do something before the auction ends!
8. They made great guitars... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231335964338
9. It's the near perfect 69 that gets me chaps...
10. Just had an email from Fender chap called Paul Levesque. He says they have no control over items for sale on eBay? Reported an item to them before and it was removed. Must have been a coincidence...
11. http://basschat.co.uk/topic/244858-totally-fake/. Original thread
12. Just emailed a Fender. Let's see what they do...
13. Reported it a few days ago myself. It would be a better idea reporting it to Fender itself. Done that one before and they got a result!
14. I can't believe it's not sold but saying that I can't believe it's up for sale either. Have a bump...
15.
Great price!
And a great combo!
16.
with that logo, serial number would be on the neck plate. The serial number went to the headstock when they started with 76 or S7/8. Truss rod would adjust from the body too and there would be a plug in the headstock
You are right. according to Fender, the serial moved from the plate to the headstock mid 76 when that logo also changed. So, nothing on the back of the head but surely there should be a date of some sort on the butt?
17. I've seen a few fakes with the same logo. Lots of people put a custom shop logo on the back of the head as we'll. I think many waterslide sets come with both.
18. I think the models with the patent on the headstock were something like 68-76. I can't ever remember seeing a more recent model with the same style decal? They were patents pending. I think the serial should be on the back of the headstock. I would be asking for some more pics especially of the truss rod access, the butt and the back of the head. It doesn't look right to me though...
19. I cant tell properly but the trussrod may adjust from the headstock? Not on a USA I dont think? A better picture of the neck plate would be good too, the ones sold on ebay are a bit rough. His feedback shows he buys a lot of stuff from China and Hong Kong too...

21.
Hmm, since posting this, this little guy is growing on me... Maybe I'll keep it after all!
Best gear I've used in years, bought the 1x10 extension too. I've played out side with it with no problems. Well loud enough to rehearse too. I got an Eden WTDI to use as well as I moved from a great big Eden stack but didn't want to lose the sound. I thought a little while ago about moving over to an Orange combo but that was a GAS attack that has since subsided. I see you are in West Yorks, if you are passing Blackburn let me know if you want to hear it with the Promethean extension...

24. Looks like a different amp to me. Messaged him to ask if it was the lighting...
25. Tampon it down

I had to use tampax to light a barbecue a couple of weeks ago. Works a treat! Cant help with the label though...
