4. I've finally managed to get a price for this tremendous amp from a reliable source. See original thread...
5. I used to have one of these, lovely to play whatever style is yours. Not to be mistaken with any of the sgr stuff. Top notch pro bass. Friendly bump bump bump...
6. Not enough screws in the pickguard, very clean bridge, shiny shiny paint job!
7. It dates at 1976 made in the Fullerton factory according to guitar dater project but the neckplate says Corona California. The description in quite non committal. The neck contour on the same pic looks a bit too defined? It all looks a bit wrong really? Maybe its just me. Any thoughts? 8. Traded my LM2 with Josh for a Jazz bass (over quite some distance). Lovely instrument. Great communication, everything went really well. You cant go wrong here lads and lasses. Thanks Josh....
9. Fender do make a P body with a Jazz neck with the Jazz pickup. That's exactly what the MIM bass was that I mentioned earlier in the thread. Candy red, gold pickguard. Beautiful instrument. 50's style Deluxe. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/bass/fender-deluxe-p-bass-special-4-string-bass Mine wasn't active though?
10. I've recently reached the same conclusion. I've always had Fenders etc but some of the factories now are making excellent basses for that little money I cant understand how they function? Gear wise, the last gig we played (Strummercamp) one guitarist used a Carlsbro Stingray Lead 30 (£20 off ebay) the other a Linebacker (£21 off ebay) and I used a Redsub BT5110 that I got for £80 off ebay. £121 for our backline! I would have died of shame 10 years ago. Its all in the ears and not the pocket!
11. [sub]The only P/J's that I have played that sounded really good are - Believe this one or not, a MIM candy red P special. It was brilliant, really woody sound that cut through extremely well. A custom built (that I have just traded) and my old Westone Thunder 3 which also has a bridge pickup. That was marvellous, the best bass I ever had by far, which I stupidly sold![/sub]
12. Hi, sorry about the underline. I cant get it off. I am in Blackburn Lancs BB22SH. Thanks...
13. 9 female, 14 male,1 male stagebox fitting. All used. Plus postage. I've found a few more so I've adjusted the price a bit... £20.00 posted.
14. I've got the Tech 21 Landmark 600 up for sale on here. Its fabulous...
15. £475. Reluctantly for sale my Tech 21 Landmark 600 bass head with footswitch http://www.guitarint..._Bass_Head.html It's effectively a Sansamp RBI and RPM plus a power amp. I got this recently but to be honest its a bit to heavy for a man with a dodgy back. Open to all trades, basses, combos etc.
16. I've played for the last 5 years without a back up bass but a couple of months ago my Fender P developed a crackle at a gig so I thought I had better get it fixed and get a spare. My Gordon Smith is too heavy (and its in Belgium!) so I cant use that. Last week I bought a Vintage AV4 for £100, nice bass has 22 frets (which is a bonus) and will make a nice little back up. Only trouble is - after I bought it, a mate of mine offered me his MIM P in exchange for some equipment he had of mine which I accepted, I swapped another amp for an artist series Squier Jazz and then I couldn't resist a very very cheap Squier P classic vibe on Ebay. I now have 4 spares... My Mrs is not happy. Anybody want to buy a spare bass?
17. [sub]Ha! The ad was taken down but is now back up revised as you are NOT allowed to sell humans on Ebay![/sub]
