  1. Stop it Walshy. You really have to be into your secret stash by now. All you do is tempt me, every time you sell something! Funnily enough, I've sold a few things recently and could afford this but the money has stupidly been paid into the vampires account. I now can't have any of it just in case she has to buy spaghetti hoops and bog roll on the black market. You honestly couldn't write it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ GLWTS Cheers Dunc
  2. Sold my GR55 to Keir. Great fella to deal with and chat to. Everything went exactly as it should. He's a credit to the forum and I wouldn't hesitate to deal with him again. Thanks again Keir. Cheers Dunc
  3. Sorry, I don't think I can help with that one at the moment. Maybe things will change though.
  4. I don't think the head will fit unfortunately . I'll sell the cabs and head for Β£160 though if that's any good? I'm waiting on someone getting back about them at the moment. If he comes back with a no, then they are yours if you want them. Sorry, I can't measure it at the moment as it's at the rehearsal room. I would rather sell as a pair at the moment. Cheers Dunc
  5. If I could,, I'd definitely buy this! Lovely piece of kit. Unfortunately, the Mrs would kill me. Strangely enough, she would be quite happily buy 1200 toilet rolls? We live in different worlds πŸ˜‚ What is it all coming to? GLWTS
  6. Yes the tw@tted by a madman look again. I wonder what other delights we'll see due to the DIY enthusiast bored at home during lockdown?
  7. It is a great piece of kit. Now that I've got a bit more time at home, my intention is to get it incorporated into the songs so I can't sell it! I've been dithering since I first posted it πŸ™‚
  8. I can look after 10 of them for you? If I chuck the lad out, I could look after 50! πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  9. Chris bought a MacBook from me recently. Hassle free deal in the midst of the apocalypse. Nice chap, payment straight away and great comms. What more could you want? Deal with confidence. Thanks again Chris. Cheers Dunc
  10. I bought a set of Sennheiser HD201''s a number of years ago after BC members recommended them.. I still use them to rehearse at home. They're great. Long lead, lightweight, handle bass well. I've used them in a home full band rehearsal setting when using electric kits etc. Even used them live. I'm sure there's 1000's of models suitable out there that would fit the bill but these cost Β£17 from Asda. I think they might be cheaper online now.
  11. You can't scratch a white bass itch. Once you get one, destiny dictates, there will be more! πŸ˜‚
  12. Great basses these. I've owned two and only sold them due to circumstances. Well, I tell myself that but in reality, it is because I am a complete tool. Much regret about it. Brilliant necks. GLWTS.
  13. Well, if something sells Paul, I'll get back to you. Just what I'm looking for really. I've thought that about a few other things you've sold recently too!
  14. Mike just bought my Tele. Faultless transaction as always. Great comms, great BC'er. Don't hesitate to deal with Mike. Thanks again. Hope you enjoy the guitar! πŸ˜€ Cheers Dunc
  15. Money burning hole in my pocket. The Mrs will gladly tear me a new one if I buy it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ There's no justice. Absolute travesty. GLWTS
  16. Great harmoniser / distortion pedal. In good working and condition. Velcro on the underside. Comes with non original psu. Trades - preamp DI, Logic controller, something recording related maybe? Will post at buyers cost and risk. Will be well packaged and insured (if buyer wishes).
  17. Bought some IEM stuff from Dan. Great experience and a top lad to deal with. Arrived well packaged and exactly as described. Super duper fast delivery too. Alarmingly quick actually! πŸ˜‚ I wouldn't hesitate to deal again. Thanks again Dan. Cheers Dunc
  18. Beauty is in the eye (or ear) of the beholder. 😎
  19. One particular band I play in is a Clash covers band. We don't play often but always get paid far more than the originals bands I play in. We have a decent following which often exceeds the safe limit for the venue. We got together for one gig and it evolved from there. There are no disillusions about what we do, We always have a laugh and a great time. No falling out or fits of pique. No dressing up to suit the genre. We also managed to get five members who all love The Clash too. That's exactly why we do it. We love em and we're not really bothered if folk turn up either. So far, only one person (well, a guitarist πŸ˜‚) has ever questioned our motives. After having a go and slating us, he contacted me and told me we should sack our guitarist and get him πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜€πŸ˜‚
  20. I used David Eden gear for a good number of years in the past. Hands down, the best gear I have ever used or owned. Metro combo and a 4x10. Absolutely the best rig available. Glass back prohibited keeping them. Now, if I was younger or had the luxury of a roadie, these cabs would be a no brainer. Still, I get excited when I see the David range for sale! GLWTS.
  21. I use one of these. Great pice of kit. GLWTS.
