As above. Great 4 way compressor/limiter. Bought from this very parish but haven’t got round to using it much so back up for sale. All works as it should but does have rack rash. PENDING. Selmer Treble n Bass 50w. Suit bass or guitar. It’s enormously loud with guitar and a capable bass head with the right cab. I’ve had this for a good few years and haven’t used it apart from to test and the occasional practice at home. Reason being covid happened and by the time that was over I needed a more powerful bass amp again. The amp had just been fully serviced when I got it (on BC) and it’s still working fine. However, whilst stripping the tolex (it was in a sorry state), I managed to snap the on / off toggle switch. The amp still works and can be switched on and off (with a bit of difficulty) but the switch really does need replacing for ease of use. Hence the low price. The repair should only cost about £30, I just haven’t got round to getting it done. The case is stripped of the tolex, sanded and varnished. It looks great. This amp is over 50 years old. Collection and trial from Blackburn Lancs. May be able to meet up within a reasonable distance, time permitting. Postage is the last option at the buyers cost and risk.

The Varitone rotary switch jumps to predetermined mid frequency scoops, keeping the lows and highs on either side of the scoop.

Bought it secondhand to see what all the fuss was about with the Tony James Generation Sex thing going on. It’s certainly worth the money for a budget bass. It’s got a chunky neck, very light (about 8lb I’d guess). Sounds good enough to get by with and certainly good enough as a spare or for a beginner. The tuners are a bit tight and ideally need changing. The body has a few dings so don’t expect new. The lacquer has been sanded on the back of the neck. It’s a 34 scale but the over all length is around the same as my Yamaha MB40 medium scale. The neck sits further into the body and the bridge further back. The result is a shorter bass. Dirt cheap backup or project. Collection from BB22SH is probably the best but I do have a box to ship. If you can pay for and arrange your own courier and it’s worth your while, I’ll make sure it’s packed securely.
