  1. Is this 4 or 8ohm? Just wondering what wattage it actually is putting out as a standalone?
  2. Agreed. But this bass would be far better than any other brand you could possibly get for the price. It's a real no brainier and good enough to use as a first choice. I wouldn't hesitate to gig with one of these! I still use a Thunder 2 and if I hadn't already got a P and a backup, this would be mine. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€
  3. Hi, yes it was and I'd still be using it if I hadn't gone FRFR! I may well withdraw it soon though as I might be playing a bit of guitar and bass in a new project and this fits the bill. Lovely and loud with the right cabs for bass and unbelievably loud with guitar! So, many rigs and not enough gigs unfortunately for me. Thanks for the heads up! πŸ˜€
  4. Got some strap locks from Pestie. Totally as described and arrived super quick. Such a bargainous price too! πŸ˜€ May good fortune head your way! Thanks again Mike. Cheers Dunc
  5. Roland R8 and baby brother R5 are still great machines. I don't have either anymore but wish I had. I'm sure I came across the R8 manual in the loft a bit ago and I still have some sound cards knocking about. I'll have a scout for them if you want them? Gratis of course? πŸ˜€
  6. Alex bought my Boss FX. Flawless deal and I wouldn't hesitate to deal again. Instant payment and great comms. What more do you need? Thanks again Alex. Cheers Dunc
  7. I too am a victim. I feel like somebody has been in my handbag πŸ˜”
  8. I got this in a trade recently from Geddys Nose BC member. He bought it and did not use it due to band problems. The unit is in great condition with no problems and boxed. I love the thing but I only use delay, chorus, compression and this thing does everything else. I already have everything I need and I'm happy with the sound they make and so, can't really justify keeping it. Will post at buyers cost and risk. Arrange your own courier would suit me better. Collection much preferred. Possible meet up. May trade for a Squier VI, CV Jazz (with some cash my way) or Mex P / Jazz, maybe 22 and 24 fret 4 string basses considered too. Also, after a field recorder in PX. Shallow rack case too. Pics to follow.
  9. As above. Great little combo. It's the older version and so is a bit heavier than the current model. 250w as a standalone and 500w with extension. It's a loud little thing so don't be fooled by it's standalone wattage. It's Markbass who still do real watts. Everything works as it should and is in good condition. Comes with soft padded cover. For some reason, pics have been deleted? Probably my doing I guess! Will post some more as soon as I get access to it. It's in the rehearsal room. It used to belong to Ash of this very parish and his original ad may be still viewable via a quick search in the meantime. Selling due to a total rethink of my setup. Prefer pick up and trial from Blackburn BB22SH but will post at buyers cost and risk. May be able to meet up depending on distance etc.
  10. Got one of these in a trade the other day. Most impressive. GLWTS.
  11. 1988 Squier Korean E Series Telecaster. Great condition for year. Black with maple Neck and white plate. Nice guitar. Only selling due to recent acquisition of a Variax. Includes Epiphone padded case. Trade for lighteight bass head. UK sale only. Bank fees prohibit non U.K. Sales. Can post at buyers cost and risk but would much prefer collection and trial. Possible meet up.
  12. Good condition. No issues. Boxed with psu. Selling due to aquiring a Line6 HX effects. Will post at buyers cost and risk. Collection and trial much preferred. Possible meet UK sale only, sorry but bank fees prohibit non U.K. sales.
  13. I might be totally wrong but I would have thought that a lot of 70's players would have owned 60's maybe late 50's P basses, 80's bands using 70's basses etc etc. So looking right might be subjective? I know there are definite exceptions to to this though. Getting a 70's P that sounds right could be very difficult too, especially if the tracks you want to cover were indeed recorded and played on a bass 10 years older! Perhaps no-one but yourself would know the difference anyway! Good luck with the search, I'd like to be looking for an Oly white 70's P bass myself! πŸ˜€
  14. I really want this but I'm skint until something sells! Always the case! If anything happens, I'll get back post haste!
  15. Great cabs. Really great cabs. Really great rehearsal room too! Wish ours was as well stocked. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸΊπŸΊπŸΊ Glwts
  16. Thanks. I'm in the North West. If I hear anything I'll give you a shout.
  17. Sorry to hear that. Theiving bastords. Quality stuff too. Where were they stolen?
  18. Barefaced Compact plus a Midget and an Orange TB500. The older Orange have a 4ohm 8ohm switch and so you can use one or both of the cabs at full power (not that you would need it all I would have thought). Huge sounding rig that can be broken down to make a smaller rig if needs be. Real lightweight and compact rig. Or, a BF FR800 (or pair) with a preamp of your choice. Plenty Ampeg and clones available. Another monstrous setup with very little weight.
  19. Used the head version of this tonight. A very nice piece of kit indeed. Lovely tones. GLWTS.
  20. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Seriously though, I had the TB500 with a BF Midget and Compact. Absolutely phenomenal. Sold that as I am a complete tool and later got a TB1000 with 2 Ashdown 4x8's. Louder than thunder and sounded second to none. Sold that as I became a bigger tool. Best rigs I've ever owned (must mention my Eden Metro rig though as it would be rude not to) and I've had more than many! Maybe not as many as Karlfer or Beedster though! My heart always skips a beat when an Orange TB (or anything Orange really) goes up for sale. You can rest soundly knowing that I'll be awake thinking of your little amp!
