1. What a kin mess! There's a red one on that looks well for £140 BIN too!
 2. Enjoy it. It will be great! Try and keep a sense of humour and remember your gear and you'll be fine! Good luck!
 3.
By me, and its a web forum, I dont need to justify my likes and dislikes, thank you. None of us do, its a bit of nonsense.
Agreed, just wondering the source.
 4.
Agreed, the Sex Pistols. Talk about hype. They were not even in the top 100 best Punk bands.
A poll taken by whom? There weren't even a 100 punk bands anyway? Unless we are including the mostly dire post 1979 offerings...
 5.
AC bastard DC.
Another lot!
 6. Meatloaf, Meatloaf and Meatloaf. And Queen I suppose. My greatest fear is being trapped in a confined space with the nauseous songs, Bat Out of Hell and Bohemian Rhapsody being played over and over again. Hang on a minute, that's just like being in most pubs all over the country at weekends! PS. U2 as well. A bad enough pretentious band but when they and equally pretentious Green Day murdered The Skids song, The Saints Are Coming, they went onto my "Sh*t List"!
 7.
I'll do a double bump here. I have bought from/sold to Dunc many, many times and he is an absolute gent to deal with. We kind of 'gear share', I think. But also the IEMs - I have the model below this, the very basic one, and find it perfectly adequate for the sort of gigs I do, which is small pubs. These are only going to be better and would make a very affordable first step into the world of IEMs..
Thanks for the +1 Paul. It's not a bad system and I'm having second thoughts about it. Do I need a spare spare? Do you need a spare!
 8.
In what situation does a drummer need to hear vocals? Is he on backing vox duty?
We won't be carrying floor monitors anymore and needs something to hear what the singers doing. The singers been known to not follow a set list and omit a verse or two!
 9.
My only suggestion would be to look at 'sports' ones, that clip around the ear and stay in place, like these... Sony MDR-AS210 Sports In-Ear Splashproof Headphones ... Drumming can be quite physical (depending on character and repertoire...), so he'd want 'em to stay in place. I can't think of anything special, otherwise. He sounds like a bit of a cheapskate, really, unless he's simply skint, of course. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the advice, I'll check them out. He's not skint and not a cheapskate really. It's sort of that he's totally unaware of the benefits and needs a push. I'm sure that if he could hear the difference, he would splash out. Hence, budget stuff. He hasn't got a clue about inputs and outputs and wouldn't dare touch a fader!
 10. Any ideas about budget ear buds for a drummer? He wont wear phones. I'm going to end up paying so the cheaper the better! I should imagine that they will mainly be for vocals. We're using a digital desk and he will be hard wired. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
 11. Only sold mine as I found that with PA support, I didn't need such a wonderful setup and bought an Ashdown MiBass 400w 1x10 combo. It does everything I need it to do and more but still hanker for my Midget and Compact back!
 12.
Is the neck a standard F size? If so I may just take it off your hands.
42.5mm (according to spec sheet) at the nut and 63-64mm at the heel. I'd go for 63mm at the heel though. The eyes aren't what they were! ☺
 13.
Pretty much. And to double as pa in another project I do.
Much to my dismay, I have an unused pair of FR800's gathering dust due to being unable to get 5 people in the same place at the same time!
 14. Bought a Soundcraft desk from Andy. It arrived safe, proto and as described. Nice guy to deal with. Have no fear! Thanks again Andy. Cheers Dunc
 15. Not been used in a while and gathering dust. We just used it for mics in rehearsals. The metal casing of the power connector has snapped but the wiring is still fine. It should tape together and not be a problem. May need a bit of a clean and some switch cleaner. Otherwise, a nice compact and portable desk. Plus £6.00 postage to mainland UK. Collection from Blackburn, Lancs.
 16.
Is it ok with bass at bedroom volumes?
Hi, to be honest I've never tried it with bass but folk have in the Line6 forum and have had success at bedroom levels. http://line6.com/support/topic/6281-using-amplifi-with-bass/ http://line6.com/support/topic/19259-amplifi-75-with-bass-guitar/
 17. Not usung this and so it's just gathering dust. Gigged condition and so don't expect new. Couple of scratches on LED screen but still can be read with no issue. No power supply but runs off battery or a standard 9v supply. Postage at cost to mainland UK.
