2. Great sounding kit in good but used condition. I bought this off a semi pro drummer for us to use for silent rehearsals. Although it does the job admirably, we aren't rehearsing enough to justify keeping it really plus I need some more room at home. DTX500 module and the rest is what I believe is a DTX532k (or upgraded hats, cymbals and snare), apart from the really sturdy bass pedal which is a Millennium pro. I'm no drummer but our drummer who has been playing for 40 years+ loves it. His wife won't let him buy it as he already has 5 kits. Even his coffee table is a bass drum. So, as you can imagine... Loads of info and youtube videos online. 3 way cymbals and snare, hats are at least 2 way but may be 3 as well. Loads of preset and fully editable kits. Midi, so straight into your DAW. You can even write songs to it etc etc. Comprises of - Bass drum and millennium pedal, snare, 3 toms, 2 cymbals, hats with Yamahal stand/pedal, stool, rack, wiring loom, original Yamaha psu, even some headphones and sticks Everything you need. Any trial. Collection and trial from BB22SH prefered but will ship at buyers cost and risk. Will be well packaged though. Cost of postage unknown as yet but I would expect £25ish would cover it. UK only as every time I sell something abroad the bank charges me through the nose for the transfer. Any questions, please ask. If I don't know the answer, I'll find out. Trade wise - Behrimger XR18 desk, Fender basses, lightweight combo's or heads/cabs, iPad, Macbook etc etc. Try me. Will try and get some better pics up.
3. Bought an iPhone from Tom. Exactly as described and arriived safe and super quick. Have no fears. Thanks again Tom. Cheers Dunc
4.
I thought the early 90s Epi were meant to have quite poor pickups?
The one I had was great. It may have had mods that I didn't know about. I wasn't the first owner. Looked all original though.
5.
Selling my entire RM rig, I'm going for an Ashdown ABM 110 combo...just for convenience. Gutted it'll be going.
I'm using an Ashdown MiBass 400w combo at the moment. Tiny thing, sounds great with my JV and loud as loud can be for a combo it's size. Played to a 200 crowd with it with no PA support and it did it's job admirably. I used to use an Eden Metro combo with an Ashdown 4X10 sounded amazing but we needed a van just to move my gear I'm so glad of the far more convemient bass gear nowadays!
6.
I believe it's 280W at 8ohms, but not absolutely certain. Cheers, Tobie
Thanks. l like the look of these. Great stuff Eden. Used an Eden Metro combo for years. Only my back made me sell it!
7. An old Yamaha Studio Lord or an early 90's Epi.
8. Bought an ABS case from Jamie. All went well. It arrived quite quickly too. Deal with confidence. Thanks again Jamie. Cheers Dunc
9. Nice and light. Tilt for desk in the space at the top. 6U (Maybe 7) underneath. Used but in good all round condition. Some slots have been cut in the shelf by previous owner, presumably for cables. There's a bag of bolts included too. Trade for LD Systems MEI One-T 860 MHZ compatible receiver. Try me with anything, you never know! £45 collected from BB22SH or £55 delivered to mainland UK at buyers risk. Will be well packaged though.
10. I bought a mint original OD1 about 10 years ago for £20. I let our guitarist use it. A while later he turned up a gig without it. I asked him where it was and he said that it was broken and he had thrown it away... WTF?
11. Mike gave me a rack light and shelf.Top condition too. Really nice generous guy. Thanks again Mike. Hope I can return the favour one day. Cheers Dunc
12. We don't really know the true value of the violins he made himself. He may well have modified the one's that he bought too. He could be Japan's version of "He Who Cannot be Named" from this very forum! That may well explain why his wife finally snapped and trashed the lot!
13. Alas, no cash and I need a spare P bass...
14.
I'll add another recommendation for a Kiogon wiring kit. I've got two now and they're top quality stuff.
+1
15.
I think they send you the money via PayPal. Their 'courier' or 'friend' turn up to collect. They always want to arrange their own courier. The good are collected then they file a not received claim via PayPal and you have no proof of posting or a signature on delivery. PayPal pay out every time!!! You lose. No money. No goods.
Had a similar experience on ebay. I sold something. Sent it via my insured courier. Courier delivered it and got a signature from the address. Buyer said he hadn't received it. Ebay ruled in buyers favour as I could not prove it was the buyer who actually signed for and received the item (although proof of delivery, the right signature and address was supplied to me and paypal via photo). Buyer got the money back and item. I could not claim on the insurance either as they had proof of delivery... Do not use paypal unless you trust the buyer or seller.
16. I wouldn't follow the paypal link either...
17. If only it was white with a maple board... GLWTS Karl!
18. Shreikback did some great stuff. Not punk as such but born in the early eighties. Personal favourite is My Spine is the Bassline - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=m8bq7fb7o2g Care and Oil and Gold albums are well worth a listen.
