    Had a look at the finish close up and it does indeed look like crackling. The pic showing the neck plate enlarged is the best one for me to see it.

    These are brilliant basses. Not to be confused with standard Mex builds. I sold mine for peanuts and still kick myself every time one comes up. Not because of the money but because the bass was so good. If I hadn't just shelled out quite a few quid I'd be knocking on your door.

    I used to love an old Selmer 50w treble and bass head that a mate of mine had. Must have dated from the sixties. That wasn't too heavy . Lovely sounding thing. Really old school! [/quote] All of the above have extension speaker sockets. Some run at 250w as a stand alone combo and 500w with their matching extensions (or any other 8ohm extension). The P3110 is 300w stand alone and 300w with the extension (something to do with the windings). All have to be bought secondhand now though.

    Great guitar, in great condition for it's age. Some swirly (but hardly noticeable, that would probably polish out) scratches/impressions on the back and a ding in the upper bout (tried to take a photo of it). Low action and a pleasure to play. No known issues. Sammick 1997 I believe and a good year it was too. Non original scratch plate. Trades, Barefaced Midget or Compact with cash your way. Try me with other lightweight cabs but no monsters please. Maybe light MIM, Jap, Squier Precision. Will post (at buyers risk) but have no case not even a gigbag. I now have suitable packaging so good to post, or, I could perhaps meet up or buy a case and include that in the sale at cost. Collection and trial from BB22SH preferable.
