    Pity you didn't have this for sale a few weeks ago. I bought one with a staytrem bridge in red recently. Would have rather had this colour though. Despite that, they are great instruments and really do the bass thing well, much better than the Squier. Six strings without the massive neck width. GLWTS

    Personally, I would do it and have a laugh. It's a celebration after all. I would however, expect the same in return (from the band members). If I felt the favour would not be returned, I would think about joining another band...

    I find that large cardboard box that once had a bass in, is a suitable alternative for a wardrobe.

    I've havent found one that will ship insured unless it's in a hard case. Any of them will take the extra premium though!

    Well Karl, all I can say is that you are taking the p*ss now. What a bass! Where do you hide these things! You must have undisclosed access to to some of Fenders finest. I even thought about selling the JV! Good luck with the post above but I'm on bitter and have the goggles on again!

    I keep one of these as a spare. Great little heads. I've had the Promethean and Redsub (combo) versions too and I can't hear any big difference.
