Thanks Duncan, it really is a great bass for the money. I've used it lots but I now have 8 basses here which is ludicrous and I just offered on a cab so this and a couple others are up for sale.

If my TC sells I may well get back to you...

I can't believe this is still here, great amp and a bargain price.

Cheers Paul. Quite unbelievable. Thought it had gone but...

Unless I'm very much mistaken. . . . . this is one of my old Forty's.
Yes! I believe it's one of yours!

Well you can buy Flea's autograph for £69.95 so I am assuming the bass is made of solid gold

I would have thought his handwriting would have been a lot less clearer too!

Sure are. Used only one on Saturday as backline/monitoring. Making me think twice.

I used 2 with an LM3. One of the loudest rigs I've ever used. One is ample in most situations. Light enough to take 2 though!
Peavey T-40 £425
I really should keep this (sorry to anyone who has shown interest before) as I need it for a recording project but I'm in need of something like a Fender VI Hellcat etc for the same. So, would ideally like to trade for one of the above but open to suggestion. Try me I can only say no.
Early eighties Peavey T-40 that will need no introduction on here. An absolute classic.
Great condition with no faults. Plays and sounds really nicely. Has a couple of small dings and scuffs but nothing serious {shown in photos). Comes with original case which is still in very good condition for it's age. Probably the most versatile bass I have ever come across. Mimics an array of different basses.

What's the nut width, please?
42mm at the nut and 64mm ish at the heel. Squier say they are 63.5 at the heel.
Only been to Switzerland once. Unexpectedly, we found a really mad pub in Basel. It was great! Just like my local pub in Blackburn England. Welcome to Basschat Lukas!
Comes with all hardware inc neckplate, screws and strings etc...

Just traded basses with Kert. Everything went really well. Great communication and the bass sent was exactly as he said, we'll packaged and on time. Can't ask for more really. Deal, with confidence!
Thanks again Kert.
Cheers

That's a great price. I've had mine a few years and I still haven't come across a better amp for what I do. GLWTS.
Thanks for that, they are great little amps and surprisingly loud even at 8ohm. Still dithering over keeping it but I've got 3 heads and can't really justify keeping them all...
