Just picked one of these up myself recently. Cracking bass - would give any Fender a serious run for its money. GLWTS
I sold my USA Highway One when I got mine. The necks on these are lovely. Seriously better than the H1. Stock pickups are nice too...

Nice cheap P bass. Black with white plate. Good condition apart from a tiny chip at the butt of the body. Plays well. I've no hard case to ship, so it it will be sent uninsured at your risk. Would prefer to ship with neck off so I can pack it better for shipping. Collection from bb22sh or might be able to meet up. Will get photos up ASAP.

Amp vibrating off cab....any cures..?
itsmedunc replied to jonnythenotes's topic in General Discussion
Bumped for 'Itsmedunc' to have a look at...
Thanks for the info, some great solutions. I'll wait until I get it then decide on either the rubber mat or some non slip feet, then put the lead through the cab handle. What could possibly go wrong? -
Lightweight head vibration. Sorbothane?
itsmedunc replied to itsmedunc's topic in General Discussion
Thanks everyone for the advice. The Genz is only 3.75lb according to the spec which is less than half the weight of my TC. Never had any problems with the TC Classic450 but my LM3 sometimes went walkabout. So, it looks like something a bit dense and non slip. I used to know a girl like that! -
Poundshop Mat might do it as long as it does not block any ventilation slots?
Thanks for that. I've not got it yet so can't see if any vents are underneath. A lot cheaper option than sorbothane! -
Im getting a Genz shuttle 6.0. I'm a little concerned as they are so light it may vibrate off my cab (barefaced midget). Also, the vibration may jiggle the insides of it. Has anyone tried sorbothane sheets/feet or auralex (or anything else) to combat this with good results?
I had one of these, plenty loud and easy to get a good sound. GLWTS
Thanks for that. It's a great sounding head that as you say, is easy to get a good sound with. I use it with a BF midget at 8ohm and it's plenty loud enough for me. -
Great little lightweight head. In good condition and in full working order. Nice tube emulation. It's served me well but I fancy a change. Short scale Fender Musicamaster. Made at the Fullerton factory in 1977/78 (Guitardaterproject.com). Lovely little piece of nostslgia. Sounds very old school. It has plenty of battle scars but at around 38 years of age who doesn't? As you can see it has 2 sets of pups and plates. One is the original plate and the single pup, the other is a custom plate fitted with a set of Wizard Trad P pups. The BassDoc made the plate and did the additional routing for the Wizards. Both plates and pups can be fitted to suit your taste. Weighs a little over 8lb on my somewhat iffy digital scales. On the front near the top horn there's a scratch and some sort of gluey paint stuff? I'm not sure what it is? It's dry. The body seems solid enough to me so I don't think it's holding anything together. I've had it about 6 months with no problems and the previous owner Paul S from this parish conveyed the same when he passed it on to me. Definitely not a museum piece and has plenty of mojo. I don't really want to part with it but I have my eye on something and could do with raising some cash towards. You can make me an offer, I can only say no. I can ship but don't have a hard case so it won't be insured. If you are happy with that, it will cost around £15.00 to mainland UK. I could also ship with the neck off if you preferred. Collection from BB22SH or might be able to meet up within reason. May trade. Something Fender preferably or just try me. I'm sure I'll end up adding something I've forgotten later!

Great little amp. It could do with a service. Reason for service. I traded this with PaulS on here a while back but he found that after 30 min or so the volume dropped. I got the amp back and have run it several times for longer than 30 min and had no problem at all. It's in pretty good condition for its age. It dates to around 1994. So, will be one of the first Eden's to arrive in the UK. I think the problem may be that the fan is not kicking in. Reason being, I haven't been driving it hard at home and it may not have warmed up enough for the fan to kick in. When warm enough, if the fan doesn't kick in it will go into thermal shutdown and should account for the lack of volume. I'm sure a service will identify the problem, if any. It does need a service nevertheless as a couple of pots are a bit scratchy. The problem could also be caused by the master volume knob being dirty. Might be an easy fix for a handy lad (or lass)... It's another job I'm not going to get round to so, it has to go. Will get pics up later.

Great combos these. The single rack space below the head is especially useful. Tremendous sound too. If I hadn't gone down the lightweight Barefaced path, I would definitely have had this. Still tempting though! Not the lightest (or heaviest) combo but beats virtually any other I've ever used hands down. Great on its own or add a 2x10 or 4x10 for a mega monster of a rig that would suit the biggest of venues. You cant go wrong! It's surprising it's still here, especially at this price. GLWTS.
Bargain. Is this the same one that was on a few months back, being sold by a guy who point-blank refused to post, no matter how easy people tried to make it? Anyway, very, very tempted, but can't right now. Jon.
Thats the one. I got it off another BC'er though, who went and picked it up, decided it wasn't for him then sold it on to me. That gouge looks really deep on the pics but it's not as bad as it appears to be...
