  1. Mike Pope preamp, imported from the States and was installed professionally in my Watwick Streamer and dis-installed professionally. Volume, Balance, Stack Knob (Bass and Treble) Stack Knob (Mid Sweep and Gain). Amazing sound, 18v. Extra battery in the Streamer fitted in the control cavity without having to alter anything. Can work with other basses, of course.
  2. Great bass, has been toured and gigged since 1990 but am using a different bass now. plays perfectly, set up beautifully and is really a gem, but want to move it on without getting sentimental. has replacement neck pickup, jack socket and battery cover. comes with tgi extreme gig bag. UK sales only.
  3. Sounds corny, but this is truly a symphonic instrument. Amazing
  4. Bass is still available- welcome to come round and try it out if interested in buying.
  5. Brilliant basses all round.
  6. great bass, bargain price
  7. Playing there on Thursday 28, what a coincidence. Birmingham Conservatoire (?) - I think that’s the venue. If you pm me I can give you more details.
  8. Funnily enough, am playing there on Thursday 28 at the Birmingham Conservatoire (I think that’s the venue) - is that any use?
  9. Absolutely brilliant bass, a piece of history. Plays and sounds like a vintage Ken Smith should, very precise, even tone across the neck. The feel of this bass is incredible. Have used it for countless gigs and recordings. Frets are in great shape, there are no issues whatsoever with the neck. All original apart from the screws on the control plate and 1 screw missing from the truss rod cover. Back of Neck has now been cleaned up - see added pics Very sad to let it go.
  10. Can be viewed in Saffron Walden - also often down in London and Horsham. Need more photos? Let me know. Will listen to sensible offers.
  11. 39 issues of SOS various from 2006 to 2015 . All in good condition apart from 2 which got rolled up but easily flattened.
  12. Dropping this off today at Guitar Classics in Battersea (London) if anyone wants to view it there.
  13. Have modified the ad so it says hard case- it was sold to me with this case by Richtone at the bass show in Olympia-all those fancy basses and this was the winner.
  14. Not sure about that, seems to be completely moulded to fit the stingray. Earlier ones had beige cases.
