  1. Pre yellow speakers, early model built in Italy. now £220 Loud, fast response, built like a tank. Sounds really good, lightweight, can be carried with one hand. Suitable even for large venues. In good condition, see photos. Based in SW London, pickup only
  2. Still looking for a new home....
  3. Some interest but still for sale at bargain price. Will post.
  4. Must be about 12kilos and 200 watts i believe.
  5. Looks new and functions perfectly. Great amp that I no longer need so available at bargain price from SW London. Pickup please and cash.
  6. Well used but works perfectly - EQ sliders maybe a bit unresponsive until you get to the edge, but has always worked without any problems. Replaced the valve recently and have gone lightweight. A great Amp, no doubt about it. Pickup only from SW London [attachment=211346:DSCN1683.JPG] [attachment=211347:DSCN1682.JPG] [attachment=211348:DSCN1685.JPG]
  7. Thanks, yes its a beauty and the new volume pot has just arrived today shipped from ken smith's workshop, so should be all fixed in the next few days. Also have a new set of KS strings to put on there. By then I might change me mind cos it records so well.
  8. Ken Smith bass 1990. Neck through bt4.
  9. This is a brilliant bass, one of the early ones. Great neck, a variety of sounds, growl if you want it, precision like punch. Records beautifully. You are welcome to try in sw london.
  10. New Volume pot/board on the way from Ken Smith's workshop so will be replacing that in the next few days.
  11. Ken Smith BT4 dated 1990 with teardrop case. The case is not in great condition, but the bass is in excellent condition apart from some minor 'cracking' in the finish. The neck is beautiful to play, intonation perfect all the way up. It can be very bright with lots of attack (good for slapping and tapping if you're into that) but also has loads of deep bass- very versatile. Only issue is that when you pull the volume pot to put it into passive mode the knob comes off - but as long as you slot it back in and leave it in active mode it functions perfectly OK and stays in place during normal use. When I bought it I was told that it was all original apart from the jack socket which was replaced with one purchased from Ken Smith, but some of the control plate screws are clearly not original. Selling because I use my KS 6 string mostly now. Based in SW London and would prefer pick up.
