  1. Truly fantastic sounding original wind 1974 Fender Jazz pickups pots and plate, repro knob's. Any questions welcome. Shipping at cost
  2. A killer Fretless conversion by the Gallery on this early MC900. Wonderful wood grain and all the finer details of the earlier MC's. Premium build, smaller Tuners, better pre amp with massive gain and bottom end, front jack insert - no passive tone here turn the treble down. To keep the appearance of the board the lines are ebony though at close quarters visible for accuracy. The side dot's are in their original position. See pic's for condition. Questions welcome
  3. Indeed - and originally was. With GMT ( early Status) Graphite neck, Bartolini TCT pre + EMG's and Gold Badass and machine s + Hipshot, custom order for a local player when to EMS's first came out - were talking that long ago....... Always great work from the Doc, local legend and reliable as ever.
  4. Firstly price. I can not find a price guide but given the rarity and original condition I priced in line with current hand wired boutique amp's and the vintage Wallace XT's @ Soundgas. I am open to discussion of course. Anyway here we go. Burman pro head and matching 4x12 Cab flightcased from new, I am the original owner bought direct from Greg Burman back in the day. Specifically I had a variable mid range frequency option added for greater tonal versatility. The knob is the one closest to the red power switch far right, It works wonderfully. Don't let the 140W rating fool you this is old school heft. The Rig's always been stored indoor's when not in use and serviced. Flight cases are in the lockup so no pic's just yet but those interested in fine wiring and glass see below. Questions welcome Collection obv's preferred on this one but I'll ship if need be at cost
  5. Now dismantled, all part's available. 30+yr old Quilted Maple ESP body None genuine allparts neck with Fender decal Fender 1974 Jazz pickups Sadowsky Preamp Badass II bridge Schaller Machines
  6. Hofner Violin Bass May 1964 There is a distinct joy in playing an early Hofner but it's time for someone else to take ownership of this beauty. The all important neck reset was carried out by a London Hofner specialist and a brand new period correct handmade GmbH Jakob Winter fitted case is included. Currently strung with Labellas which sound fantastic ( I will include the Hofner set which have 0 playtime ) The earlier Hofners have a certain tone the later instruments just don't have, perhaps partly down to the lack of routing under the pickups ( there's just a wire hole till later ) anyway a superb original example ready for another 60 years. Shipping at cost any questions welcome
  7. Classic Black and Maple Precision 1978 in excellent overall condition. After the well known dilemma I have decided to let this go as I prefer the C neck of my older Basses and as much as I love the Black and Maple common sense must prevail. I bought from the original owner and it is untouched aside from normal play wear. Overall great condition usual odd ding minimal fretwear, light ( 4 kg ) and resonant this is a joy. snappy Maple tone even across the board with a wonderful articulate low end. Perfect 70's P sound. The plate serial sticker matches the headstock and solder joints unbroken, the neck has never been off. Includes old shaped case. see pic's for condition. Any questions welcome. Shipping at cost.
