Heres mine, not sure about Stingray tones, but the Jazz AND Precision tones are wonderfull. Mine sounds like a Turbo Precision with both pickups on.
Now that is nice, didn't know the did it in 3tsb, thought it was only 2t.
Great Bass Shabbs. Would love to have a spare one but I'm trying to get a T 45 from the States without selling a kidney just now. GLWTS
Share your pain, I have a 1979 T-40 and have had since 1987 and just can bare to part with it.
These are awesome basses. Ive got a five string version in the stable , albeit the later neck through version but still a grind bass. Looks and sounds like a much more expensive bass than the price suggests. This is a bargain. have a bump . . .
Peavey Grind 4 string bass in natural wood finish. This is an early model with the bolt on neck which reviews suggest has a far better sound than the newer ones with neck through. Twin passive humbucking pickups sound great, peavey high mass type bridge, a lot of bass for £120. Couple of light scratches commensurate with age. These retail now for £329. Based near Glasgow but can ship at cost.

Hi Has anyone heard of a branded hard bass case called "Just in Case". I bought a bass recently that was housed in such a beast, it's a mighty case, from the 80's I'm guessing? Cheers.
