What is the going rate for a 2001 MIM Jazz with a couple of dents, are they any good and is there anything specific to look for? Appreciated.

Is there much a difference between the Duncan Designed pickups on the VM Squier and the standard 2001 MIM pup, and finally would passive EMG's make much of a difference? Appreciated.

Just bought a Squier VM jazz off Matt which was my first experience of purchasing something via the forum. The bass was exactly as described, well packaged and sent tracked. A truly flawless transaction from a decent guy. Recommended.

Flat Eric am I right in thinking my T40 is a 1979 given the serial is 00396236 ? Cheers.

I had a maple fretted version in the late 70's early 80's with tortoise shell scratchplate, traded to a 2nd hand store next to general dealer in Glasgow for £40 in 1984, purchased new from Wilkinsons in Airdrie in about 1978 / 79 for £170. God do I regret that decision.

Evening gents, just recently joined and laughed when flat Eric mentioned another heavy bass, the Ibanez Studio which i foolishly sold many years ago but thankfully held onto my T40. It's natural with maple neck, early one I think need to check the serial, but an amzing bass all round, I'll post some pics when I get the chance. Was wondering if cases come up as I'm keen to get one? Cheers.
