5. oh now you sound like my wife.... I think ill head for the spiros although the pricetag might turn me to the silvers
 6.
I am swaying to the Spiros then you know, anyone got a set going nice and cheap Where is the cheapest place if I decide to bite the bullet and buy a fresh set? 2 months off the council tax coming up, thats a carbon bow, pot of rosin and a set of spiros if you ask me!
Im bouncing between Spiro mettel or Super silvers. only problem about the internet is the amount of options and information you can access so very readily. Makes choosing a difficult one.
 7. quite a few people i asked on BC recommended Spiro mediums and due to the cost of a set, i can only get one set every coupla months. Oh gawd imma have to get a cheeper hobby....like hell

 17.
Ha!! You're all sitting there, convincing yourselves that the EUB makes sense cos you haven't got a big enough room/flat/house/wife
what ya trying to say mate...my wife is fine thank you but ive already been eyeballing strings and Pre-loved Double basses..bassi..bass. you know what i mean.
 18. Well havent play a guitar in over 10 years and forgot more than i learned....if thats possible. so Novice means really dont know much. though that might seem a bad thing its not im more like a clean carpet you can track muddy boots on Been making progress without a tutor (there aint many in or around Aberdeen) due to the wonders of the tinterweb, and some books. Yeah i know what you mean about the size of a Double bass, My flat aint exactly designed with anything more than Food telly and sleep in mind, And the Stagg stands 18 inches taller than my wife so she is probably intimidated by it.
 19. Had my Stagg EUB for 4 weeks and loving it, Mind you for a musical novice any note which i make that comes out in tune is good even this short into learning i wish i had of just paid a wee bitty extra and brought a real Double bass...maybe next year.
Its still not here! I bet its going to spend the night in a van somewhere for no reason
know the feeling mate mine wasnt delivered until about 20 minutes before last drop off so i was crawling the walls. This forum is very friendly and if you ask a question there is generally a plethora of answers in a short time and people can be messaged and can either answer you or put you onto someone who knows. Love the community here.

 22. I thought that at the time of posting and undoubtedly my wife will have similar thoughs, as i spend more time with the EUB than her. Plus who has never thought about doing that to someones Cycle, PC or gym equipment. Plus in this world gotta have a sense of humour.
 23. No its not my Bass infact its on the other side of the world never seen a Double bass used in such a fashion before.
