1. Hi Josh, check out Bergantino cabs- they could be exactly what you're after! Go to bassdirect.co.uk and have a look for yourself...
2.
oh dear god...I'm being paid tomorrow...you bastard! lol!
Just to be an even bigger bastard, I'll let it go for £800 if you buy it before the end of this weekend!
3.
Its mine! ITS MIIIIIIIIINEEEEEEE! heheh Now time to wait until it arrives, Im dieing to try a Markbass for the first time and see by myself whats all the fuss about them!
I think you'll like it mate! Just recently got an LMII and think it's a brilliant-sounding piece of kit...
4. BUMP! These are now definitely for sale people...
5. Now on hold, pending sale!
6. Have another bump on me Steve! PS You don't still happen to have your Berg HS210 by any chance?
7. Depending on whereabouts you live in Bedfordshire Matty, it could be very little indeed! My folks live in North Bucks and I'm planning to drive back in the next two weeks- I could bring the cabs down with me then...
8. Weekend BUMP! Price now reduced to £825...
9. ***SOLD PENDING THE USUAL*** Hello! I'm selling these on to finance another cab, please give them both a good new home! Both cabs are of the earlier design (plain black rectangular carry handles, unpiped grille, small Ashdown logos). The logo badges have been removed (but will be supplied!), and I've also removed the black paint from the metal corners to expose the shiny finish underneath... they look cool together! The 4x8 is rated at 600W RMS, the 1x15 at 300W RMS. Both cabs are 8ohms. The 4x8 has both 1/4" and Speakon inputs, whilst the 1x15 has two 1/4" inputs. These sound frighteningly loud and punchy together when hooked up to my Little Mark II, especially considering their size! They are a great, compact yet full-sounding, gigging solution- I used to be able to fit both of these side-by-side, PLUS my amp head in the boot of my old BMW! They are both in A1 working order- both have been gigged a fair bit, but are in pretty good condition cosmetically- the 1x15 is the slightly tidier of the two, so I'm selling it at the same price as the 4x8. I would prefer to sell the pair for £300, but I will also consider splitting them for £160 each. Collection from Liverpool city centre preferred, although shipping could be arranged at extra cost- it will be expensive though! I can also deliver within 50 miles of Liverpool if my diesel costs are covered... Thanks for looking!
10.
Very quick question. Can you run both channels independently into seperate cabinets? P
Adee beat me to it! He's right of course... p.s. Have just PM'ed you back P
11.
pm'd
...and replied. SOLD pending usual to Kev!
12. I bought this new in 2004, and it has been my sole gigging and recording head ever since- it's never been anything less than 100% reliable in all that time! I've recently bought a Little Mark II to replace this, and can't really afford to keep both heads, so with some sadness (oh pleeeeeease!) I'm putting this up for sale... A quick summary of the spec: -300W @ 4 ohm, 200W @ 8ohm. -Twin channels (you can select either OR both channels together AND mute with supplied footswitch). -Footswitch connects to the head using any 1/4" jack lead (very useful). -Sansamp XLR DI out (with gain pad & ground lift), effects loop, parallel 1/4" speaker outs, tuner out. Condition is 9.5/10- it's been rackmounted in a flightcase virtually from new. There are only a few light scratches on the top panel, and the rubber feet are slightly scuffed, and that's about it- not even any rack rash (I've been very careful with it). It's in A1 perfect working order- I just hope my new LMII is as roadworthy as this has been! It comes in the original shipping box and packaging- the footswitch, manual, AC cable and rack-mounting kit are all included (see pic). I'm looking for £300 for this- no offers please! ***NOW SOLD*** Collection from Liverpool city centre preferred, but I am happy to post this at the buyers own cost and risk- it's pretty heavy though! I can also deliver within 50 miles of Liverpool if my diesel costs are covered... Thanks for looking- please PM for more info and photos. Etienne
13. PM on the way!
14. +1 on nobody listening to what you're playing! I've played 'Sexy Mother F****r' by Prince on more than one occasion with my old covers band- goes down a treat! Slip it in near the end of the last set when everyone's slaughtered- not recommended as a first dance though!
15. BUMP! More info and asking price added...
16. ***SOLD!!!*** I bought this used on Ebay from a shop in Alabama a few months back... I'm now selling it on to pay for some newly acquired gear and to pay some bills... This is an amazingly versatile instrument- by using different combinations of the switches you can get virtually any tone you like, and it's passive too! This is one of the early models, fitted with Schaller straplock buttons as standard. Other features include a graphite-reinforced neck, Hipshot lightweight tuners with D-tuner on the E-string, and a fully adjustable, 2-way loading, roller-bearing saddle equipped bridge... For the full spec, please see Fender's website. The body is downsized compared to a regular Jazz Bass and is quite light. It balances perfectly on the strap- no neck diving! This is a perfect gigger's bass- all the tones you'll probably ever need and very comfortable to play and wear! These are pretty rare in the UK, particularly in this colour with the matching headstock and rosewood board. It comes with a black tolex Fender case (a few scuffs but that's all), plus tools for the trussrod and bridge. Condition is 9/10- just a few tiny dings/chips in the finish and some light scratches on the back of the body. I've just fitted a brand-new set of Ernie Ball Slinkys too! I will ship this at extra cost (insurance recommended) OR it can be collected from Liverpool city centre. I will also deliver this within 50 miles of Liverpool in return for fuel money. Thanks for looking! 18. SOLD SOLD SOLD (Pending payment)!!! Thanks everybody for your interest! Etienne
19. Wow, what a pain in the arse! Hope this whole sorry episode is going to be sorted for you now mate- don't forget to keep checking the gear sections in here for 2nd-hand LMII's, 'cos they do turn up- I just bought my own off Flanker in this very forum last week, and it's a beaut! Good luck! Etienne
