Hi everyone, Have decided to move this fine piece of kit on, as financially it's a bit of a luxury item for me right now! It's in very good condition throughout, and works perfectly. Comes boxed, with the PSU, plug adaptors, USB lead and candy all included. The adhesive feet have been carefully installed, and show no wear. Used for just one gig when brand-new, and since then has lived in its box in my flat, only brought out for occasional living room messing about As a bonus, a guitarist mate of mine has uploaded four Toneprint presets into the empty memory banks (one of which is the Queen 'Brighton Rock' setting- can't remember what the other three are). Looking for £100 for this- price includes careful packing and fast UK shipping. ***NOW SOLD*** Please PM me if interested, thanks for looking!

Dave bought a Boss TU-2 from me last night (and will hopefully receive it in the post later this morning!). Another friendly Basschat deal done with fast payment... good man!

Hello everyone, Time to sell the rest of my gear that I don't regularly use- this has sat in a cupboard ever since I bought a TC Polytune last year, so it makes sense to move it on. This has been substantially gigged, but certainly not abused- functionally it works as good as ever. The rubber grommet that surrounded the thumbscrew to the battery compartment has long gone, but it doesn't affect the functionality of the pedal. Comes with the box, instructions and a battery of indeterminate lifespan... I'm after [s]£35[/s] just £30 for this, including UK postage. **NOW SOLD** Thanks for looking!

Ryan bought my Eden head over the weekend, and took delivery of it today. As others have said, dealing with him is a pleasure! Superfast communications throughout led to a quickly-agreed no-nonsense deal, followed by even swifter payment... couldn't have worked out better

Hi everyone, Regrettably, I need to sell this beautiful classic bass head, as the dreaded January lull in gigs means something needs to go to pay the rent This was originally built in the USA in 1994 as a WT-300, and was returned at a later date to the Eden factory to be upgraded with the PM-400 power section and a larger toroidal transformer (a very common upgrade for the time). It's essentially now a WT-400 in terms of output, and certainly feels like it when plugged into my pair of 8ohm Bergantino cabs- it certainly shifts air if you need it to! These early Eden amps truly sound great- there's loads of EQ if you need it, but if your bass sounds good to start with, you'll barely need to touch it. Since owning it, I've had the head painstakingly overhauled. Every single capacitor on every circuit board has been replaced with top-quality components, and several of the resistors have been substantially upgraded for better reliability and heat-management. The improvements are completed by a brand-new, modern-spec cooling fan, and a Groove Tubes ECC83 now sits on the preamp board. With the new parts fitted, the amp is substantially quieter at idle, with far less background noise than standard, and runs so cool that the fan won't even kick in until you start playing at a decent volume! I have road-tested the amp on gigs several times since the work was completed, and everything works as it should. I've also kept the tired-out original components in a safe place, and can ship them along with the amp to its new owner as evidence of the work done. Cosmetically, the amp is in fine shape for its 21 (and a bit) years- a few scratches and scuffs on the chassis are to be expected at this age. The only thing missing is the red plastic cover on the DI level knob... hardly the end of the world. This amp will likely still be going in another 21 years too, thanks to the easily-serviceable innards... try doing that with a Class D switch-mode amp, ha ha! I'm looking for £350 ONO for this, which includes fast UK shipping and a used-but-decent Odyssey padded gig bag. Please PM me if interested- thanks for looking ***NOW SOLD***

Ivan just took delivery of my SFX headphone amp, after I finally took him up on his kind offer to buy it from me a couple of months ago. Fast payment, straightforward comms, and another smooth, easy deal completed... good stuff!

Darren bought a Bergantino NV115 from me recently- as others have noted previously, communication was excellent, and payment super-fast...

Just took delivery of Dunc's Eden WT300 repair project earlier this morning- hopefully it will be a straightforward fix! He gave me a great deal on the amp (including shipping), and got it sent out very promptly indeed. When it arrived, it was very well-packed, and completely as described... good man! Thanks mate, Etienne

Bergantino NV115 with padded Berg cover: ***SOLD***
Etienne posted a topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
Bought this second-hand from Bass Direct just under a month ago, and have (carefully) gigged it twice in that time to see if I preferred it to my existing Berg setup. As lovely as it sounds (with beautifully detailed upper mids and lower treble), my pair of EX112ERs are still doing it for me, so I've decided to move this on... It's still in the same superb condition, and comes with the padded Berg cover. I'm after £520 for this- audition/collection preferred from Liverpool city centre, or I can deliver/meet up within reasonable distance for fuel costs. Cash preferred, but I will consider trades for other Bergantino cabs Please PM me if interested, and thanks for looking! Etienne EDIT: NOW SOLD! -
Cal's a mate of mine, and just bought my Diamond BCP-1 compressor last weekend- it was a pleasure to hang out with him at my flat on a Sunday afternoon and chat about music, playing and gear! As you'd expect, the deal and payment was hassle-free, and I wouldn't hesitate to trade with him again...

Bought Freddie's Diamond compressor whilst away in Europe- picked it up yesterday on my return. Freddie was extremely easy to deal with, shipped the goods out swiftly and securely, and happily answered all my questions... perfect! Thanks mate
I sold a GK combo amp to Etienne and it was a very smooth process. Thanks!
Thanks Nick!
Yep, it's an 1100s and fine example by the looks of it. I had a slightly later one of these. Fantastic bass, switchable between active and passive, very versatile. Whoever buys will be well happy ;-)
Very true... from the mouth of the Yamaha connoisseur himself!

Graeme bought my Headway preamp earlier this week- paid quickly and no hassles... thanks mate

Just completed another easy transaction with Iain this week- bought a Peli Storm carry case to house the REDDI I previously bought from him. It was posted within hours of transferring the cash to him, and arrived safely and quickly as promised. Thanks again mate!

Hi everyone, I bought this new from the Wunjo Bass shop on Denmark Street last June- I've since switched to using an Fdeck clone with my upright that I'm very happy with, so this is no longer required. It's in good cosmetic condition (just one small paint chip on one side- see photo), and it works perfectly. Great for all acoustic instruments- not just DB! It comes in the original box with the factory 18V power supply, plus a mic stand adaptor ring and detachable belt clip (unused). I'm after just £95 for this- pretty much half of what I bought it for! Fast UK postage is included in the price. EDIT: NOW SOLD

Thanks mate, appreciate that!

I've just taken delivery of Iain's REDDI this morning. It arrived well packed, and in great condition inside and out- turning up when he said it would. The total price I paid was a bargain too, considering that Iain threw fast insured shipping into the deal... Communication has been great throughout, with constant updates on both the payment and shipping, and photos to show what was happening... couldn't ask for more really! Deal with confidence people! I bought this superb sounding amp from bobbass4k back in January 2013 on this very forum. Prior to this, I believe it was owned by tayste_2000, so it's been kept in the family! It's the earlier silverface MK I version, and I believe it dates back to the early Seventies. Since buying it, I've spent a further £150 getting it fully serviced and made absolutely tip-top by Salford's valve amp guru Roland Lumby (The Amp Clinic). Aside from the service itself, some minor operational niggles (loose knobs) have been sorted, plus the wooden chassis sleeve has been reinforced, with additional battens glued and clamped to the internal corners. Both transformer's legs have been re-straightened. The original Bulgin power connector had already been upgraded to a modern IEC kettle-lead socket when I bought it, so it's much safer to use on a regular basis. The amp operates either at 15 or 7.5 ohms (operationally, take this as 16 or 8 ohms). I will supply a series speaker connector box with the amp, which will allow you to connect up a pair of 8 ohm cabs and run off the 15 ohm tap if needed. The input section has a quartet of identical ECC83 valves that came out of an old S-W PA 200 I used to own. They're all unbranded except for one ('EEC 83' in white block script). I've been running them in the amp for the past year with absolutely no issues, and they sound great. The output section is running a quartet of Groove Tubes EL34s- these were all tested as good by Roland at the time of the service, and collectively produce the full 100 Watts that this amp is capable of. I used this head along with my REDDI to track all the parts on my band's forthcoming album (using the exact same valve set), and we ended up favouring the mic'ed amp tone for the majority of the mixes... that should give you an idea of how good it sounds! The plexiglass front panel has survived the years relatively unscathed, with just one minor crack to the left of Channel 1, plus a few surface scratches. All four channels work perfectly, and every control knob on the front panel operates smoothly and securely. There is a minor chip on the face of the Presence knob, but otherwise they're all in good order. Channel 1 was wired for a slightly darker, smoother tone when I bought it, and I decided to keep it this way- it sounds excellent for Motown/classic R&B with the tone knob backed off on a P-Bass. The other three channels are as standard, and a lot brighter- lots of fun can be had daisy-chaining multiple channels with different settings! My personal favourite combination is plugging into 1, then linking into 2, for a classic, well-rounded P-Bass tone. This would make an excellent gigging/recording workhorse for somebody- with an efficient multiple speaker setup, it can definitely push some air! It's only been gigged once since I've owned it, and it performed faultlessly through the venue's Orange 4x10. Otherwise, apart from a handful of recording sessions during 2015, it's been kept safely in my flat as an occasional overkill practise amp, and warmed up/run/cooled down at least a couple of times a month. I would like a firm £300 for this, which I think is very fair considering it owes me £500! No offers or trades please, I'm after a cash sale only. ***SOLD***

Just took delivery of a Protec Contego gigbag from Gareth this afternoon. It has arrived in superb condition (just as described), helped by the sturdy shipping box and choice of courier (UPS). Great comms throughout the deal, as others here have noted. Highly recommended!
