1. Evah Pirazzi low C ext string - as new Only been on the bass a couple of days, amazing pizz string but I'm not a fan of the arco response for orchestral playing. £40 posted
2.
Have you got the polarity-reversing adapter that comes with it?
Yes I do. However, he PSU was bought from Effects Power Supplies and is positive tip so you don't need the adapter. The original US PSU is included too.
3. Forgot I still had these, any takers at £20 or trade for different set of strings?
4. Back up for sale. Will only post within the UK

7. Sorry guys, need to change my settings on the new site. It isn't emailing me anymore about new pms. Dan, I'm afraid I'm away on tour at the mo and won't be based at home till mid Jan. Christmas always gets a bit mental gig-wise. If you haven't sorted anything by then though I'd be happy to teach you. Oh and cheers or the recommendation Clarky
8. These came off a recent fretless purchase. They're far too light for my heavy hands. They're in great nick, still nice and bright. Cut for Fender headstock. £10 posted? *NOW SOLD*
9. I've just ordered some new ones in the weich gauge to try so these will be off the bass in the next couple of days. Great strings with equal pizz AND arco capabilities (IMO they're the only hybrid string worth buying). They're a year old, nice and dark sounding, still life in them yet. How's £20 posted sound? *NOW SOLD*
10. No interest in a great stompbox compressor?
11. Hire a proper Stevenson case and take your German bass. Those styrofoam things are great for domestic touring but there's no way I'd trust one in the hold of a plane. Or better still, hire a bass out there. Saves a lot of grief & excess bagged fees, especially if you were only going to bring a crap knockaround anyway.
12. Great fat sounding pedal but I never really use it so might as well let it go. It's in excellent condition and comes boxed with a UK 18v power supply. These are pretty hard to come by in the UK. £150 posted (UK only) *NOW SOLD* or trade with a VT bass + cash Review here http://www.ovnilab.c...diamobass.shtml Diamond website http://www.diamondpe...compressor.html
13.
Hello, as some of you may know I play in a 50s rock & roll band, use a mag pickup and regularly do 3 hour sets and all that jazz or errm rock and roll.. Anyway I currently use a Spiro Weichs, mixture of slap and pizz (mostly pizz) and generally get blisters every gig and practice even after two years or so - sometimes I get away with it, mostly not! So is there a lower tension magnetic string I coud try? I don't want to go the piezo route, been there got fed up with the feedback
You'll get blisters using any string if your technique isn't sorted. I doubt going lower tension will help, it'll just take all the balls out of your sound. Practice in front of a mirror and take a good look at your right hand, you'll be putting in way too much effort getting the string to speak. Concentrate on getting as big a sound as possible but with as little movement in your hand & fingers as possible. It's all that wasted effort that's giving you blisters.
14. Tried these recently don't unfortunately didn't really get on with them on my bass. They sound like a slightly darker version of spiros. They're in excellent condition and have only been on the bass for 2 weeks. £70 posted
