1. Even if it's a saloon it should fit neck down in the front passenger seat (fully reclined). Then it's just a question of whether you value your car's interior, mine's all scuffed and scraped from the bass.
2. Sold Gary a Badass bridge recently, paid instantly and great comms. Cheers and hope you enjoy it
3. Apologies guys but just went to have a play on this bass and the jack socket has now completely failed so I'm withdrawing it for now. It'll be back up for sale once it gets a clean bill of health from the Gallery.
4. Wow, never had a response like this to a for sale thread! Slowly working my way through all the pms. For those of you that have asked though, I can't accept trades, I've got way too much gear as it is. Cheers, Chris
5. Awesome bass but I just always play my precisions and this doesn't really get any use. This one's got quite a history behind it. It was played for some time in the Divine Comedy (can't remember the bass player's name) and then by Dino in Ladytron and The Beat Up. It's an early 3 band eq model with gloss neck and the old style bridge with mutes. As you can see in the pics, it's got quite a few battle scars, the most noticeable being on the back of the neck but I can't feel it at all when playing. There's also a small crack from one of the machinehead screws in the headstock that's stable. It could also do with a new jack socket. Aside from that though, it's an absolutely brilliant sounding instrument with that great played-in feel you get with older instruments. Comes strung with DR nickel loriders and a non-original hardcase. Would greatly prefer meeting up in person for the sale. *NOW SOLD*
6.
Hi, one more question, are the knobs for split or solid shaft pots? Thanks Tom
Hi Tom, they're solid shaft
7.
Can those tuners be reversed for lefties?
Sorry, I don't think they can, there's no mention of it on their website and you have to state left or right side when ordering.
8. Hi Tom, yes they're black too. Call it a tenner for those together.
9. I've just taken these off a recent purchase as i'm transferring it back to all chrome. Everything's in good nick and prices include postage. I'm afraid I can only accept bank transfer or cash on collection, no paypal. Hipshot HB2 lollipop tuners incl. bushings and screws (4 in a line Fender style) - £50 posted Also a string guide, strap buttons, 2 dome top p bass knobs & pickguard screws (all black) - £10 posted for the lot *ALL SOLD*
10.
Are you interested in trades ?
Afraid not
11. Also forgot to say, my paypal account got hacked so I can't accept payment via that way at the mo. Bank transfer and cash on collection are fine though.
12. Never ever really use effects other than my Diamond bass comp so might as well sell them on. Fulltone Fat-boost v1 (supposedly the best one on bass). It says it's a discrete clean boost on the box but it's far from it in reality. It's an amazing little pedal that adds a tonne of presence to your sound and the drive knob adds a nice touch of creamy valve-like grit. It's a very natural sounding drive with no nasty high end fizz. It's true bypass and comes boxed in excellent condition. *SOLD* Xotic BB bass preamp. This is apparently a modified tubescreamer with a powerful 2 band eq. Sounds absolutely awesome with no loss of low end. Works perfectly but has a few paint chips and 'grantt' & '59' written on the base in silver pen (no idea why?). No box with this one. *SOLD*
13. Pre CBS Fender style reverse tuners. Not sure of make but they came off my new Performance Guitars p bass so should be quality parts. 4 in a line right handed. Complete with bushings but no screws. £30 posted *EDIT NOW SOLD* Also forgot to say, my paypal account got hacked so I can't accept payment via that way at the mo. Bank transfer and cash on collection are fine though.
