1. My record store day experience was fantastic. They were selling beer, and the owners personal collection of 10,000 vinyl for £1.00 each, regardless of what it was....a good day. If you are looking for something hard to find, and didn't manage today at your local store, try discogs. it's fab
2. Anyone else only come here when they aint got a lady in their life?
3. Yes! Almost went. Was in leeds and everything!
4. I noodled on the bass for 6 or 7 years before even getting an amp - I'm LOUD
5. ever been to the Ernie Ball forum?
6. Ive seen them 6 times, once at parklife in manchester was the worst sound ive ever experienced - right in front of the stage and couldn't even make out what song they were playing. Warehouse project in manc, in the carpark under picadily station, however, was just phenomenal. That jerry barnes on bass is a monster when you can hear him trust me!

12. Cheers chaps! Was so unsure if it would work, think it does. Quite a rough recording technically of course but you should hear chris murrays albums!
13. Thought I would share this with you lot! I've been across the country filming musicians playing parts to a song, and put this video together documenting the process. Inspired by Playing For Change Would love some feedback on this one if ya have a few minutes. Filmed on my canon 6d with audio (except drums) recorded on a zoom h4n. That thing is phenomenal! http://youtu.be/wKqeq0Hf9eg Cheers Z
14. Just started trying to really pick up the double bass, heres a vid we did today. What do you lot reckon? Any pointers for double bass playing? http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CmkqdaP6FTk
15. As stated, this is a classic effect. I think we all know about envelope filters and these DOD things! It sounds superb, really, really great. It doesn't have a PSU but takes a standard 9v adapter that we all have lying around. Condition is good, it is definitely used and there are cosmetic signs of wear. I'm looking for £40 and will post for a fiver! Any questions feel free to ask. I'll post some photos up tonight. Thanks for looking Z
16. MM Sterling. I've had many basses, sold them and got the Sterling. I don't miss them at all, and will never own a different bass.
17. Thanks Dave. I'm delighted!
18. Just received a Barefaced Big One from Dave. A patient, understanding, friendly, and immediate seller. An absolute pleasure to deal with. The cab is perfect, and packed well. Thanks! Z
19. ite guys, this is sold! Thanks Mr. Rumble Z

22. I know right! Come on guys, I'm eager to move this and avoid homelessness this month...
23. PRICE LOWERED: £800 Hi Guys I am putting out a feeler for this cab. I'm sure you all know the Barefaced Super 12 by now! This is the tweeter version. I absolutely love it, however unemployment and back-rent mean I'm screwed. So, looking for £800 - and that comes without the 3 month wait for a new one! It is in 'as new' condition, has been safely used only in the studio. The wheels show some wear from when it was brought to the studio! For those who need convincing about the cab, go here: http://barefacedbass...ge=super-twelve It currently resides in Southampton, where it will need to be collected. OR, it can be arranged to be collected from Birmingham, if it's easier! The only photo I have for now is this rather bad one, not ideal I know: Thanks Zak

25. Eels - Wonderful, Glorious is fantastic. Transplants - In A Warzone. Released this week and already a firm favourite! Absolutely brutal. And haven't heard Like CLockwork yet, but I imagine if you like that you may enjoy these two!
