1.
Totally - give me a free copy today and I'd throw it away...
Good Times is Disco. It's also a great jam which has been the backdrop to countless 'good times', and you can't throw that away. Funk songs are generally just about 'funk', aren't they?
2. Can't understand how anyone could dislike reggae, the most feel good music there is. Not to mention the variety and the interlocking culture of jamaica with the UK, which gave birth to ska, shaped punk, created the foundation of modern electronic music(jungle, drum and bass, dubstep, etc) Coupled with jerk chicken and a red stripe. It's the best.
3. I'm rather desperate on this one. Could lower the price to £125, which is an absolute bloody steal!
4. Birmingham based my friend. Selly Oak to be exact.
5. I am selling this fantastic pickup, simply as I don't use it nearly enough. Wasn't sure whether to list it here or in the DB/EUB section, so put it in both! I'm guessing you will have done your research / know what you're looking for if you are considering this pickup so won't bore you with the details. This one was built by Mr Armstrong's son to my order, I'll have a picture up as soon as I'm able to! any takers at £70? x x

I'm guessing you will have done your research / know what you're looking for if you are considering this pickup so won't bore you with the details. This one was built by Mr Armstrong's son to my order, I'll have a picture up as soon as I'm able to! any takers at £70? x x
7. This is an absolute classic which needs to go as I'm broke. The Akai S2800. Basic info found here http://theprodigy.in...kai_S2800.shtml, which happens to be some sort of Prodigy website, and apparently this unit is used by them. Great condition apart from some cosmetic wear (it's been around) and the backlight for the screen has (very typically for these old samplers) died. Never proved problem however. It's really f***ing cool! looking at around £80 Thanks x x
8. My Trusty Laney. features 2x10" Celestion speakers, 7 band EQ, tweeter, limiter, compressor, FX loop, DI output. It's plenty loud for practice sessions and smaller gigs, which I've used it for countless times. It really is a workhorse and won't ever stop! You can run an extension cabinet from it if you wish. it has some minor cosmetic wear, but is solid as a rock! The only reason I would like to sell is that the amp has become something of a bedside table since my new rig arrived, and my degree needs funding. So this is going at a reasonable £150. Thanks for looking guys! x x

12.
Beautiful set up! Have you any closer up pictures of the bass too?
Will get some better pics up soon! I can't recommend the barefaced or orange enough. If you're thinking about it, do it.
13. What really impresses me is the versatility of this. I heard that the terror was a 'one trick pony' with a pretty useless EQ...this couldn't be further from the truth though - the range of sounds from the amp, cab with tweeter and the EQ/3 way switch on the Sterling is unbelievable. Grinding pick tones, sub-bass reggae and dub tones, sizzling and aggressive slappy tones and polite folk and jazz tones all from this. It really is near perfect. Once I'm home in birmingham, it's going to have a good workout with rehearsals and gigs, and I can't wait!
14. Super12, with tweeter yeah! Sounding fantastic I'll give it a proper test drive when the band is together, but I've been shaking the house - it's really superb. Superb 12.
15. New rig. Terror Bass 500, Barefaced S12T. Lightweight and aggressive...perfect. Can't fault it!
16. I can safely say that this setup kills. My first 'proper' rig, seems to do the job as far as volume is concerned! Terrible picture, apologies, lent my DSLR to a mate! Z

Blew me away when I played it. Nicer than my early 90s Sterling...
18. Dug out some of my dads vinyls/ found this gem - listening over and over again! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mlu-M1Maqi0
19. Mine is arriving tomorrow! Wowsers trousers!
20.
Don't knock Laney mate! I used a DP150 for years!
hah, don't get me wrong - my old laney has done me proud. However, it's time for a change. To an inappropriately loud bastard of a rig!
21. Terror 500 and Barefaced Super 12 coming within the week. This will be a step up from that sh*tty old laney amp...
