2. Can't wait for my Sterling to arrive so I can sample yo' dishes!
 3. I've seen them. They're good fun... ...but just ridiculous.
 4. Cheers! Originally this tune was going to be about Desmond Dekker's dancing, but we are saving that one for later! Glad you like it Zak

 7. This, I'm interested in. I am going to be in Devon next week and will have what you're asking in cash... ...if it isn't sold by sunday then I may have to go for it.
 8. I missed Jaya unfortunately, we went to the Worlds End for a few pints and got a bit carried away, then when we got to Dingwalls we bumped into the the guitarist for the Aggrolites so just talked to him right up until they had to on. It was a brilliant gig aswell...
 9.

I went to a toots gig the other week, and it was one of the best things I have ever been to! But currently listening to another bit of soulful reggae... ...saw these guys last night in camden and by god they were good!
 10.
I thought you thought it was Nina Hagen who did 99 Red Balloons.
It's actually called 99 luft ballons. Quality chooooooooooon.
 11.
Awful!!
Still excellent!!
 12.
Up to a point. That point being that they're finished in thin nitro cellulose (a lot of which is then sanded away) rather than being constricted by thick polyester. It definitely seems to make a difference, at least to my ears and touch.
Actually, those Highway One basses were similar in that respect, I remember playing a Jazz that sounded phenomenal, unplugged.
 13.
Have you tried the Roadworn basses ? they're as alive as a wriggling bucket of eels
Aren't they just the same but with some patches of wear caused by a belt sander...? Fenders = sweet.
 14. Gorgeous. I didn't think there were any fretless P basses made recently - awesome looking thing!
 15.
Lets not forget his classic Killing..tone which had to be an EB Musicman but that was from waaaay back at the beginning!
The bass tone on that entire album blows my mind...frikkin' stingrays are EPIC!
 16.
I can pull some awesome 2band EQ stingray tones with the circuit and the lead pickup solo'd.
This made me LOL.
 17. Nah, Victor is the same. Juan is just BURSTING with soul and FUNK.
 18. I am just seeing if there is any market for this on basschat, as I don't want to go to evilbay. This is only for sale to raise some money for uni. Details here: http://www.vintagesynth.com/misc/virusb.php It is in reasonable condition, got some scratches and all that - it's a classic after all! I would be looking for around £350. Ta Edit...pics up soon! xx
