2. Sorry to bring this oldish thread back, but Dotfunk are playing at the Jazz Cafe again reletavely soon - would it be a recommended gig? Last time I went there was to see Maceo and it was incredible. One of the best gigs ever...
 3. Bedouin Soundclash - when the night feels my song. Fantastic song and band, but awfully out of tune harmonies at the end...it's cringe worthy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VlsBPH8O7q8 at 2:57ish
 4. This bass is beautiful, shame about the cheap looking bridge. I am looking for a fretless...are you considering trades?
 5.
^^^ obligatory funny hat shot.
Naboo the Enigma...
 6. Oooooh, this is 2 doors down from me...if only I had the money... BLUMP
 7. Love it man, sounds great. Reminds me of'The Black Crowes' for some reason, awesome stuff.
 8.
PM's replied to. Still available at this point - still searching for the elusive lightweight superJazz.
The Bongo is lighweight, and with the HS configuration is pretty much as Superjazzy as you can get... heheh
 9. Phwoar, I could really do with this bass. But, alas, I just bought a Bongo 5.
 10. These are supposed to be absolutely incredible. The regular production model (ie - no fancy top) will be available next year called 'Reflex' It's active, passive, series, parallel, HH, HSS, or H - me want.
 11.
sorry to hear that. try firing off an e-mither to http://www.stringsandthings.co.uk/
I'll definitely email them, customer service said if all else fails then that is where to go.
I suggest you send an email to EBMM describing what kind of service the "local EBMM dealer" offers to EBMM customers.
I would, but I really don't want to take the matter any further really - I've sent a long email telling them what I think of them, and it ain't too nice Besides, they claim to be a MusicMan dealer, and you can order anything from them, but I've never seen a MusicMan in there (except one of mine they had hung up on the wall when it was supposed to be having repairs...grrr)
 12. I went to my local EBMM dealer today, but as a result of a previous argument I have had with them, they very rudely told me to get lost. Wonderful.
 13. There is a very good thread on the EB forums, showcasing the differences between the 2 EQ, 3 EQ, mahogany bodies, and graphite necked basses. You'll be suprised at the differences in tones. Personally, I prefer the 2 EQ, and the graphite necked...if only I could find a 2EQ graphite... 14.
Hey those are my pics ©©©!!!!! That's my rig and my kitchen floor!! Where's me lawyer?
Heheh, yeah I stole them. I looked everywhere trying to find a decent pic...and yours were the best. Nice floor btw!
 15. Oh yes, and I bought it used...from the states. The bass is out of warranty and EB customer service are being very nice and polite, but not particulaly helpful. Edit: actually, they are being very helpful, sending me different diagrams and suggesting different possible solutions, but to no avail.
 16. Hello everyone I just bought a Bongo 5HH with piezo bridge, it's awesome. However I can't use the piezo option because the saddle for the E string is so overpoweringly loud it is unusable. I have adjusted the trim pots and it has no effect on the E string. When touched, the saddle makes a sound almost identical to the sound made when you touch the tip of a lead when it is plugged into an amp. It even overpowers the magnetic pickups - and when not playing te E string all the other vibrations from the other strings are picked up on it making it sound quite frankly awful. It's a shame because otherwise this bas sounds friggin' epic. I was hoping for a simple solution from anyone with experience...hopefully not bad (therefore expensive) news. Thanks Zak
 17.
I don't have just one picture but...... I've got this instead
Fran?

 19.
Especially as if it's white and it's a board I'm allowed to call it a whiteboard.
Correction: It must be called a 'dry wipe pen board'
 20.
Brings back fond nightmares for me.
Do elaborate... This bass is damn near perfect for me, I'm completely in love.
 21. I don't believe I just read this thread. Ugh.
