1. Still here folks, no trades though thanks.
2. Damn, if I didn't have two already.
3. Absolutely has to be Big Walnuts Yonder. Great musicianship from all four players and moreover a fantastically mixed album, you can really pick out each instrument and each note. I wanted to really like the new War on Drugs album but it just doesn't have the same sparkle as the previous one. Give it time...
4. Picked this beast up off Bill @binkybongo(who is a pure gentleman by the way) after a mammoth journey up from Leicester. I've always been a fan of big amps and after half an hour this one takes the top spot. It's tonally rich, deep and articulate, plus, there's power for days. The amp looks great when all the glass is lit up plus the side handles make it (almost) a dream to lift. Thought about turning it up past 2 but we've just had new windows so...better not. Thanks Traynor and thanks Bill. Cheers.
5. Message sent.
6. Tried that already, it sounded good however I'm gonna try them separately at practice tomorrow.
7. We're done...for now.
8. Bought my chunk systems 00 Funk from Ian via bank transfer. It was packaged really well and arrived the next day. Really nice guy to deal with and would happily buy from again in the future. Cheers!
9. Hopefully images are viewable by all now, post basschat update. No longer looking at bass trades thanks, but I am interested in a mesa boogie 400+ if it's the right one.
10. Had considered that, the P bass ones aren't far off. May be more effort that it's worth to be honest.

Feedback for EmilOJ

Sent this fella a cab a while back. Was a pleasure to deal with.
12. Just discovered that thanks, although it doesn't appear they have what I'm searching for. Perhaps I'll drop them an emails. Cheers
13. Thanks, but I just receive a 404 error code.
14. Whereabouts are you located?
15. Wondered if anybody knew where I could get my hands on a set? Can't seem to find evidence of any online anywhere. I've tried a set of saddles from a P bass and of course they're too wide for the bridge/neck. Of course whether they make any sonic difference is up for debate but I just love the look. Thanks for any help in advance.
16. Thanks! Suffering some image uploading gremlins. Hopefully that Dropbox link works for everyone.
17. My Limelight Jazz is up for sale as I am now moving towards shorter scale basses. I've owned this since around January and it's been solid. Real lovely worn-in feel to the neck and vintage quack from the pups. Nice low action, currently strung with a set of D'addario rounds (105 - 45.) Personally I think the light relic looks gorgeous. Mark at Limelight obviously knows what he's doing here. At the time, it was a toss up between this and Flea signature and the Limelight won by a mile for sound, looks and playability. It's wonderfully balanced, I make it out to weigh about 4.1kg. Specs are: Gotoh Vintage Reverse tuners Aged Nitro-cellulose finished neck with Tusq nut, clay dots and hand rolled fingerboard edges Quality vintage bridge CTS pots and Sprague cap Vintage wired Vintage type Pick ups Switchcraft jack Light relic Bass is in Leicester, you're welcome to come try it out through my amps if you like. Alternatively, I'm willing to drive a reasonable distance to meet you if need be. I'm pretty experienced as far as shipping is concerned (have a proper hardcase it can go in) but I would massively prefer you to see / play the bass first. I would hate for it to be damaged in transit. Shipping in the UK would be about £30. Thanks for looking. Chris.
18. Whole variety of tuners for sale after a spring clean. All sets of tuners are in good condition, good working order and come with mounting screws (except the set of Fenders.) Postage to UK Mainland included in the price. Alternatively you can come and collect from Leicester. Please click on subtitles for pictures. Reliced Gotoh Lollipops - £110 Bought these on a whim off Facebook with the intention of putting them on my number 1 jazz but didn't fancy drilling holes in her so they're up for sale. According to the lovely chap I bought them off (are you on here Mark?) they're custom order so you might struggle to get another set of these. Just trying to make back what I paid for them. They're seriously lovely and I'll be very jealous of who gets them. These were reliced by Gotoh upon production. Gotoh resolite reverse wind - £75 (approx £104 new) My favourite type of tuner, just surplus to requirement. Hipshot Ultralite - £75 (approx £25 a piece if bought new) As new, in packaging. Hipshot Ultralite D tuner - £75 (approx £110 new) As new in packaging with all the mounting gubbins and instructions. Japanese Fender Tuners - £40 These came off a Japanese Fender PB62 - decent build quality and hold tune well. Please note these do not come with any mounting screws.
19. I use the titanium version with the small tips. I've used them about 30 times and they've lasted just fine. However, when I initially received them I tried out the medium tips first. Upon deciding they were too large I tried to remove them and they just came apart in my hands. I was applying very little force and was using the suggested removal method. I like them though and would buy replacement tips when the time comes.
20. One gone, rest still available. Willing to do deals.
21. How do you like them together? Thinking of getting one for my Orange...
22. Lovely chap, bought his equally lovely AD200b off of him yesterday. He even drove some distance out to meet me - always a great help. A great smooth transaction and would happily do business again! Chris.
