1. Thanks man, no worries
2. the site works fine for me and if i'm ever in mansfield i might check it out, though i rarely venture that way, it's a bit of a trek for nothing much...
3. I think washburn do a bass with a kahler trem as stock.
4. The meccano, lego and harry potter board game are all gone, there are just a few other board games left, if you're interested let me know and i'll post a list.
5. It's fairly well priced i reckon, they usually go on ebay for that (well, the battered passive ones anyway)
6. wow, that's VERY nice looking, good luck with the sale, it's a beauty.
7.
Wow Good idea. I'm going to take blu-tak to every gig from now on
What goes off at your gigs?
8. I didn't try it, but it's in the music inn on alfreton road. I'm guessing that's the shop you meant because i remember them having a grey les paul style bass.
9. blue tack? haha that's a new one!
10. It's fair enough, i mean it could be taken as being a bit cheeky, but i was just trying to advise them, but in all honesty they're not helping themselves or the musical instrument industry.
11. Cool, i might go back and give it a whirl then, it looked good quality from what i saw and the woman in the shop said it had a VERY powerful preamp.
12. Ah right, thanks, i'm just wondering if the first method will be particularly stable for a bridge screw
13. That black P is rather nice And am i the only one that thinks the maple PRS looks nicer?
14. Just out of interest, how did you get the screws out?
15.
i imagine going into those shops with a name like yours might be a bit of a wheeze... :-)
Haha yeah
16.
That amp has been advertised for the best part of a year. You'd think the lights would have switched on by now.
Yeah, they've got a couple of SUB basses at £650 too and they've been on there for AGES, i actually messaged them telling them nobody in their right mind would pay that for one but they just ignored me. They're wasting ridiculous amounts of money keeping these things listed at stupid prices.
17. Yeah i reckon it was the seller making it up, you get some right pricks on ebay trying to get away with stuff like that.
18. apart from the fact that you linked to an entirely different amp.... Screamer 50.... thunder 50...
19.
Strictly speaking that's just flamed not birds eye. Apologies for my pedantism .
Oh yeah, i only briefly glanced at it, it is flamed, nice though
20. I usually have full bass and between half and full treble on the 2 band depending what i'm doing.
21. Anybody heard of spear guitars? I saw one of their basses in a music shop today and was VERY tempted to try it, not sure why i didn't actually. It was one of these, £400: anybody know if they're any good? They certainly look pretty interesting.
22. I heard this Norwegian company has already bought 12 of their stores.
23.
how about epoxying a length of steel rod to the exposed screw and then using a pair of pliers when it's set.
Now THAT'S a good idea, i might give that a go, i sheared a bridge screw in my tobias not so long ago (ouch ) and i haven't had the balls to try and get it out as it could mean REALLY messing something up.
24.
Dude, your bass is famous, look on the case section it has your exact bass on it lol, I swear, your bass guitar needs an agent. LOL. (i know, bad sense of humour, but what can i do?) Dazz.
That IS his bass haha, they probably asked him for a picture of it to put on their site because he thought they did a good job. look at the brown patch of wood next to the fretboard, same bass well spotted though
Thanks, Yep it will fit in a coffin case, but only thing is, when i travel with my bass, i travel on bus so its a bit wierd to the non bass world lol, yea, i was trying to find a normal like hardcase. Thanks though, i will try emailing them to see where there nearest dealer is to me. Thanks. Dazz.
It's metal! BC rich customer service is good though. My friend bought a custom mockingbird from them, but they had routed the FR onto a knot in the wood so it literally just pulled out of the body, it was pretty much useless. So he rang them up, and instead of fixing it, they gave him a complete refund and let him keep the ruined guitar, so he flogged the hardware on ebay and ended up with more money than he started with.
25. That's a beautiful bass mate, love the colour and the birdseye maple on the neck, good luck with the sale, you won't need it!
