2. Aye sounds good to me, i can't do weekdays really, nor would most other people i imagine.
 3.
Lesson learned!! I bought the pick ups a couple of years later second hand the guy said it would be fine to put in. having no idea about the obvious difference i had them put in by someone else that equally had no idea!! Have never even thought about it, has a bloody great G string sound!!!! You live and learn! off to buy new pick ups tomorrow!!
i actally thought you were playing along in the PM, i was joking mate! It shouldn't make any difference at all, but thanks for brightening up my day! EDIT: i'm not even sure you can buy left handed pickups
 4. Lovely looking bass, shame he didn't make more! By the way, don't know if you'd noticed, but you've put right handed pickups in there by mistake
 5. I'll give them a ring at some point, unless someone else wants to do it? i'm a little busy
 6.
If I had the spare cash I'd go ahead and book.
At the grosvenor, they don't ask for the cash up front, which is good, as last time i just went round and collected the money in a pint glass and took it to the bar and then took what was left over and stuck it in the basschat paypal account.
 7. Yeah, i'm not much of a precision man, but that combination of CAR + black pickguard + block inlays just looks superb!
 8. Nice collection there! That lakland looks lovely in CAR.
 9. Aye, grosvenor was good
 10. I've not been round these parts much recently, but i'd just like to say that's one of the most stunning basses i've ever laid eyes on! Nicely done that man!
 11.
PA man must have been too That mic's mic'ing a piece of wood.....
Aye, sound guy was a tosser, didn't have a clue what he was doing and he was just a class A arsehole.
If you're referring to mr BudgetBassist, I think he's drunk in that one
only a little
There is something so very wrong with the picture. The bassist is fine and the bass is fine also. Its just they should not be together, the bass is with the wrong bassist
The bass chooses the bassist
Cheeky! I'm very happy mostly, unless discussing pay to play
I joke of course! I've been doing a bit of pay to play recently, helping a friend out.... he owes me big time
 12. I wish the hell holes round here looked even half that nice...
 13.
^ MMM markbass nomnomnom. Me likey It's quite depressing to see that despite being only a few months older than me you already managed to get an actual band together and a decent beard too Here's a picture of me: and this is a pic of me on the bass, before i got my haircut. Also sporting a nice beer belly lolz.
I was just depping, no band for me, though i have gigged in a couple.
 14.
Somebody told me I looked angry when I played last week? Perhaps I will appear constipated at tomorrows gig?
Possibly not a good look, avoid if possible?
 15. Cor, you do look a bit miserable there! Unfortunately the miserable git position is taken by oldgit (or is he an oldgit and not a miserablegit?)
 16. Couple of pics from another recent gig! With regards to that last picture, we played last, so we were all fairly drunk!
 17. +1 pete, it's worth whatever people are willing to pay for it, so opinion does matter. However, of course it's ultimately up to you what you want to let it go for, and i can't blame you for not wanting to make a big loss, but sometimes that's just the way it is with some basses (Warwicks)
 18.
What is the fingerboard made from - mine has an ebony board but yours looks different.
Wenge, i would assume yours is wenge too, unless it's some sort of custom shop/one off?
 19.
Yep, its a lovely bass, a great bit of wood & sounds fantastic, just fancy a change!
Been there, mate! Good luck with the sale, should fly out the door, something that pretty!
 20.
Wasn't as hard as I thought
I saw your for sale thread for the old one
 21. New tuner
 22. oh lordy, what a pretty bass
 23. Very nice, is this what you replaced the black one with then? And yeah, the earlier ones (such as this) had ebony headstock facings
 24. Phwoar, very tasty, did you not have a sterling in that finish as well at one point? Also, don't go anodised gold, i don't think it will go right, and it will look pretty tacky. Pearloid would look nice though i think.
