1.
I've stuck my oar in a few times over the Bass Cellar, but for the record, here are my experiences. First time I went in, I was about 18/19 and wanted to try a Warwick Buzzard. The old bald geezer (now dead) said "Okay - if you buy it". I was a little stunned, and he said someone might be coming to buy it later, so if I bought it now, I could try it. Obviously this was out of the question. However, that grumpy idiot was over-ruled by a nice eastern european guy who seemed a decent chap, who waved him away and said "of course, have a play", which I did. The next time I was in Simone was very helpful, no problems. The last time, I had about £850 or so to spend. I asked if I could try the Gary Willis Ibanez 5. She sort of looked at me sadly, shook her head, and said "That? Oh, that's £800." as if there wasn't a chance I could buy it. I advised her I'd just forked out over a grand for a new Thumb and left. The Bass Cellar are, in my opinion, everything what's wrong, vile and odious about music shops. As someone said, if the place were on fire, I wouldn't drop my trousers! So to speak. Incidentally, I know a lot of people here are aware of this, but new members may not be. On the counter, there is an A4 sign, stood up in portrait. On this sign, it says: Want a bass? Short on Cash? THEN DON'T WASTE OUR TIME. Those disgusting cretins!
i only went there once and picked up a p bass for a try and was told to pu it down! i walked out and never been back since, but the bass centre was the best, but now i belive the best people and deals to be had are private ones on here etc.

 11. Hi im am selling my status 5 string headless bass. It has very rare now cocabolo top, and a figured maple neck laminated to the normal graphit neck. The bass has latest 18volt electronics, and gold hardware. It comes with case. It was bought direct from staus this year and is an 08 modle, for £1600 but i dont really think its my thing. You can see the pics on my site on the photo gallery of www.bsharpduo.co.uk I am looking for £1000 and a cash or bank transfer sale, but would prefer a local pickup from essex. This is an exellent bass oozes quality and sound is amazing, and for slap it sounds great. Very powerful eq, and the bass is as new unmarked, and only gigged at high end functions. Not a mark on her. 07957300029 for a chat, thanks Rich. more pics can be emailed or text but bass is as new. Very rare as they have not made many in cocabolo top and the maple fingerbord. Reason for sale is fenders are more my thing, and just wanted something from my past, but the style of music i play does not warrent this bass. Update After talking with out to play jazz, we may have a deal (strait swap for fenders going down next thursday)
 12.
I can't believe this has not sold yet, these really are great basses and USA made for only £450? Have a bump on me!
Thank you. It is a fab bass, but since i have the status 5 (my bass that i have wanted for years and now have a brand new s2) I know the rks will just be hanging on the wall at home looking pretty, which is no place for a bass of this quality. To re cap, It is a 5 string A bass in gloss red, with through maple neck, ebony fingerboard, and mm pickup, usa made , certified (included) in hard case with a few paper extras. The hard case is very high quality as new, and it cant be less than £70 to buy it self. All for £450 including next day! I have sold a few thiongs here now, and eveyone has been happy, so i do ask that whomever buys this i would require a cash payment into my bank/or local p/up. Here are my details www.bsharpduo.co.uk cheers .
 13. This is for an as new gk neo 15inch cab with horn. As you know this is a great punchey lightweight . the cab has casters and gk cover. Im looking for £210 on a quick sale. and would like a collection from the essex area, althogh i may be able to meet half way. The reason for the sale is i bought this for band work, but am still doing duo stuff, and have no need for it, as i di into our system, and its been sitting here in the lounge since i got it!. Please call 07957300029 for details. The head is now sold.
 14.
No probs, I hope this goes to a good home soon......won't be mine though not unless you want to donate it to a good home
Ha ha to be honest i am happy to keep her in my home, and would rather sell the warwick, although that is a great bass, i dont think it will get the use that a good bass deservs so i hope that sells, but even that, im not worried if it sells.
 15. i loved all the basses i have had, and one of the best had been an indie 6 string, it wa great, but now have orderd a status 5 s2 cocabolo top, mapl on graphite finger board, etc, i cant wait for it, (next week) but i also have a dean bromberg b2, which is one of the best basses i have had. I have a warwick, which is niice and an rks which is very cool, but my chioce for gigs would be the b2, and the status.
 16.
just posted it, but i cant add any more photos i can text it or personal email, but have to get camaera going (battery out getting some in the next hour) If you look on thormans site they have the same one exact for £1100 im looking for £600. All new and certified low number collectors but its worth having for the sound, and playability rather than to store. It s going cos i just spent (aaahhhh) £1500 on my dream status bass. and decided that i want some money back!!!
Bumpy friday feelin.
 17.
Bumpity bump
Thanks Wooks!
 18.
I would love this but I'm still waiting to hear back from Peavey about the fiasco that's been on going so I'm not really in a position to make a move Just out of interest do you know how much a new body would be roughly? Hope you sell this very soon mate!!
i have no idea, but it would be easy to re spay this one black (looks cool ) as the body comes off from the neck assembly! but of course it means the certificate would be worthless to a point as it states gloo red.
 19.
I really like this and the fact that you can change the body is a really cool idea!! A body to suit your mood I would love this but at the moment it's a bit out of my price range I think But good luck with the sale!! Whoever buys this is going to get a bargain and a really cool bass to boot!!!
well looking in the region of £600 but would swap for a nice fender jazz us but open to others! (exept warwick....sorry)
