Hi mate, I don't have any scales unfortunately so I can't give you an accurate weight - I'd say between 9lbs & 10lbs. It balances really well on a strap though and because of the weight is really resonant and sustains for days.

Here are the shots of the ding on the back of the neck. It's only really in the lacquer and doesn't seem to have affected the wood so nothing serious at all. Alan specialises in making shorter scale extended range basses so I wouldn't be worried about the B string performance on this beauty. It's the most balanced and crystal clear sounding bass I've ever owned or played and is ridiculously comfortable and easy to play - the filtered preamp is very intuitive when you get used to it and you can get so many more unique tones from it than a standard 3-band EQ.
