  1. Alfie Noakes here - I was just passing and saw this thread. Happy to vouch for both the guitar and the seller too. Shop with confidence, I did. Three times, actually!
  2. Just sold my Orange 410 cab to Simon, and it was a thoroughly pleasant experience. Good comms, even when he was in the cinema (!), and very prompt payment and collection. Top chap, and best wishes to you.
  3. Please close / lock; now sold.
  4. Orange OBC 410 - 600 Watts, 8 ohms, complete with cover. Very good condition, but I'm just not using it. Can deliver within reasonable distance of Birmingham, for fuel contribution where necessary. It's a bit heavy for a courier! May trade - whatcha got? PM me, please.
  5. Traded my P bass for John's Thumb BO4, and John was a pleasure to deal with throughout. Terrific comms, an excellent meet (two dodgy geezers with gun shaped cases in the cafe part of Oxford train station - I'm sure there were worried people around us!), and we've both walked away very happy with the swap. Happy to recommend John to anyone, he's a top guy.
  6. Bump for a great person to deal with - I've shopped here three times now, and can thoroughly recommend this new BassChatter.
  7. Yes please. I'll PM you my address.
  8. Top man. Sold Nick my Orange Bass Terror, and it was a pleasure. Prompt payer, good comms, great guy - thank you, Nick, and all the best!
  9. I've just acquired my dream amp, the Orange AD200 mk3, but I have a cab dilemma. I know from experience that I want/need a 410 but can't decide berween the Orange OBC410 or the Ampeg 410HLF. Will I get the best results matching Orange with Orange, or will an Ampeg cab make my Orange head sound well, like an Ampeg? The Ampeg has an adjustable tweeter, and wheels, and looks good in black (I might re-Tolex the Orange head if I get an Ampeg cab) but will it detract from the Orange sound? The Orange is more likely to bring out the best from the amp, or will it? For what it's worth, I play a Fender P in a classic rock band, and an active Sandberg in a Britpop band. Yup, split personality or what, but so long as I wear the right t-shirt on the right night, all is well :-) So, any pointers chaps? Anyone actually been here and done this?? All advice gratefully received.
  10. Works perfectly, complete with good quality cover. 400 watts and 8 ohms. A bit grubby, with a few small nicks to the tolex. No trades please, but any trial welcomed. Happy for a half-way meet within reason. Make that £230.
  11. Top guy, pleasure to deal with, and a thoroughly good chap. Cheers!
  12. Sorry guys, bought in the wee small hours by another (BC) brother, who is collecting tonight. If it's a no show, I'll let you know, but he seems like a good 'un.
  13. Leather strap, black in colour, 3" wide, adjustable length from 48" to something stupid around your ankles Ramones style in excess of 96". It is rough and ready, but well worth £10 inc. shipping of anybody's money.
  14. Good condition, bar the usual Straplock scars. £30 each new, I'll do both for £25 including shipping to mainland UK, or £15 each, shipped.
  15. Moving on to an Orange AD200, so my Bass Terror 500 needs to go. Has the valve mod, plus previous valves, and DI attenuator, plus Orange padded bag. Works fine, stupidly loud. Pop in and try before you buy, if you want. No trades please. Will ship at cost, or collect from south Birmingham. Parcel quotes are about £15 uninsured, or £30 insured for £300. This is with UPS via Parcel2Go.
  16. As new, in box with instructions and leaflet. Extremely good condition, and barely used - over ambitious purchase, truth be told. No velcro marks. Price includes shipping. No trades please. PM me if you're interested.
