Hey all, I've been looking at picking up an Ashdown ABM 600 and when looking I noticed there seems to be 2 versions. One with the "ABM 600" printed on the front panel and one without. I believe the " ABM 600" print model is a slightly older version. My question is whether this is purely a cosmetic thing or is there a difference between the 2 versions? Does anyone know? The features all certainly seem the same. Pics below for reference.

Has anyone had the chance to try these Wharfedale cabs that recently came into Andertons? I know they're extremely cheap and the old tagline of you get what you pay for quite possibly would apply but I'm very tempted to pick one up at the price they're at to leave it lying around the rehearsal space for practise. I know that a guy who used to work as a tech at Marshall was behind the creation of them years ago but apparently after production they just never went on the market and were sitting in a warehouse until recently. https://www.andertons.co.uk/bass-dept/bass-amps/bass-amp-cabs/4x10-bass-cabs/wharfedale-whb410-4-x-10-400w-ported-bass-cab-w-horn

I noticed these are going for €500 plus on ebay these days. Have they really gone up that much in value? I've had one sitting in my wardrobe for the last couple of years not getting any use and considering moving it on now. Might set it up on my board again and get some Justin Chancellor tones going before I put it up for sale though

Considering buying one of these. I use Warwick basses so a little worried about whether the micro tape would do any damage to the finish on the body seeing as it's not a gloss finish? If I were to use the Neutrik connector and hook the transmitter to my guitar strap instead, is it reliable enough to hook on there without much movement? Just a little worried that maybe the transmitter might come loose from my strap if I'm moving around. Also, would I be able to power this with my Diago Powerstation? Or would I need the adapter? -
Came across this in the end. May wait until it's out and pick it up instead of the Submachine! http://www.jimdunlop...ctave-bass-fuzz

Yeah I got the feeling that it's pretty in your face! Did you move yours on for any particular reason? I have an Aguilar Octamizer and an SFX Micro Fuzz so wondering if it's worth my while getting a 2 in 1 with the Submachine.

Left some space on the bottom right for a wireless. Still can't decide what to get! -
Anyone used one of these? They seem pretty gnarly and tempted to buy one. Opinions?

I can't decide between these two! I know they're not the most similar in tone but I'm torn between which one to get. I've wanted a 55-01 for a year or two now and I finally have enough money to buy one but in the last few months I've been reading reviews of Sires and watching loads of videos and they sound amazing(and cheaper too!). Has anyone got any comparisons between the two? Damn G.A.S!

What's the word on these basses folks? I have the chance to buy one second hand for €250 which seems a good price considering they're currently retailing for in around €850 around Europe. It's one of the newer models with Rockbass written on the truss rod panel and not on the headstock. I have 2 German Warwicks, a Thumb BO and Corvette $$ but I wouldn't mind having a cheaper bass to bring out on the road that can take a few knocks and leave the expensive ones at home without sacrificing good tone at the same time. Appreciate any and all opinions! Cheers!
so whats an American Traditional then? never heard of them...
From what I've read online about them, they're marked as made in US but are a mix of parts that are MIA and MIM and specifically sold on the European market.
