I am not familiar with the HX Stomp but I did own an older LIne6 pedal and it was powered by a 9V AC adapter. Most pedals require a 9V DC adapter - which is what the HB supplies.
If this is the case with the HX Stomp then there is no power supply that I am aware of that can supply both AC and DC.
I just bought a Broughton HPF pedal from Jose.
A very pleasant transaction. Good communication. The pedal was well-wrapped and was delivered quickly.
Highly recommended.
I used to own a Snark but it died. I then bought a TC Polytune and when I lost it, I replaced it ASAP with another Polytune. It has never let me down and works much better than the old Snark.
I use my first finger to play the low note and alternate between my second and ring fingers for the high note. You will just have to experiment to see what feels right for you.
Playing octaves after two weeks of playing bass sounds a little too advanced to me. There is a lot more basic stuff that needs to be mastered first.
I agree with most of the posts: it is never too late. I was 73 last June and am in 2 bands: a jazz quartet and a country band. Both bands do covers. I have discovered that if you show up for the audition on time and fully-prepped, you will blow away most of the competition.
Hi. I have a Spectradrive and there are lots of Toneprints available for the drive and compressor but I don't think you can edit them in the Toneprint app.
Just bought a chorus pedal from Alex. Fast shipping, well-packaged, good communication and the pedal works perfectly. In short, a very smooth transaction.
