  1. I am not familiar with the HX Stomp but I did own an older LIne6 pedal and it was powered by a 9V AC adapter. Most pedals require a 9V DC adapter - which is what the HB supplies. If this is the case with the HX Stomp then there is no power supply that I am aware of that can supply both AC and DC.
  2. Another vote for the Harley Benton Powerplant. I am using the ISO-5 and it works a treat.
  3. Bought a speaker cable from John. The transaction was very smooth and the cable arrived very quickly by first class post.
  4. Just bought one of these. It is very similar to my old Gramma pad but much more affordable.
  5. Hi from Evesham, Frankie.
  6. I have a PJ bass and the tone control just rolls off the treble. I believe that P basses are similar.
  7. I'm 73 and am playing better than I did when I was 23 - I'm not as fast these days but the music is more important than me.
  8. I bought this Harley Benton about two weeks ago from Thomann for £222. Really pleased with it.

Bought a tuning peg from Graham. The item arrived quickly and was well-packaged.
  10. I bought a power supply and gig bag from Ander. The transaction went very smoothly. The items arrived well-packaged and quickly. Highly recommended.
  11. I just bought a Broughton HPF pedal from Jose. A very pleasant transaction. Good communication. The pedal was well-wrapped and was delivered quickly. Highly recommended.
  12. Does the price include postage? Chris.
  13. Hi from another Worcestershire dweller. I am in Evesham.
  14. I used to own a Snark but it died. I then bought a TC Polytune and when I lost it, I replaced it ASAP with another Polytune. It has never let me down and works much better than the old Snark.
  15. I use my first finger to play the low note and alternate between my second and ring fingers for the high note. You will just have to experiment to see what feels right for you. Playing octaves after two weeks of playing bass sounds a little too advanced to me. There is a lot more basic stuff that needs to be mastered first.
  16. I agree with most of the posts: it is never too late. I was 73 last June and am in 2 bands: a jazz quartet and a country band. Both bands do covers. I have discovered that if you show up for the audition on time and fully-prepped, you will blow away most of the competition.
  17. Technically brilliant. But does that make him a technician or a musician?
  18. Hi. I have a Spectradrive and there are lots of Toneprints available for the drive and compressor but I don't think you can edit them in the Toneprint app.
  19. Just bought a chorus pedal from Alex. Fast shipping, well-packaged, good communication and the pedal works perfectly. In short, a very smooth transaction.
  20. It is working for me too. Thank you.
  21. Same here. It stopped working sometime this afternoon. It was working okay this morning.
