Got this setup to basically be able to go into an amp or direct into pa depends what preset im using iin the es5 the top hides alot of sins lol Also need to redo those labels

is this to make a at home setup easier? i think the wireless controlled plug from amazon is a great solution for this

yeh i did wait to see if he replied to the above, i mean i guess for a home setup thats never gonna move.......maybe just a bluetooth controlled extension might be a better solution for the OP?

honestly a kettle plug is super tough to break, and your still going to have to plug it in somewhere arent you so dont really see why its needed? Andy

it might be enough in a very small pub gig or jazz venue, but just to get clear low end to fill a room you might be pushing it ( and i know valve amps are typically 100-200w but thats a different thing) and at 469 thats a bit to pricey for a practice amp imo where you still need a cab.

It’s all down to the di, you could try something like a cab m from two notes? Send the foh a nice ir and still have the sound from speakers my first thing would be speaking to the sound man tho, as they should be able to put a filter on the fi to take of some high end fuzz, also some sound guys have no idea what to do with a bass with distortion

But if you want a home practice amp would you really want to buy a cab aswell? I’d just use the pedals into a daw

Sounds really good tbh and yes the drives are very dg but also with the eq it’s not as set in stone. im not using the di or ir but the dual outputs are letting me split my signal and send a clean compressed signal out to front of house but also then send them make use of the drives the midi switching is cool (now that I have a type A midi cable) have to say im pretty happy

Looks incredible but that price tag is way to high for me sadly atm anyway!

Have opened up your bass? As the pickup in my orange had two unused cores didn’t test them or anything as I was replacing it but it might be able to be tapped? With some etc wiring, however my black one didn’t have these spare cores

Hi yeh it’s the mmc 4, and tbh honest not really noticed a volume difference, the standard pickup is quite hot yeh.
