Really have gas for a thunderbird style of bass .sadley I don't have the funds for a Gibson at the moment and needs to be 5 string ....rumour is there a "one trick pony".....anyone got any thoughts on the epiphone or tokai option ? I've just sold my gk rig and bought one of these ...have to say they are awesome..very loud ..very light ..contemplating buying the New York to boost it to 500 watt ..I'm not sure I need it though ...bargain price glwts ...

Love the atk's .....great looking bass for the money...seriously thinking of a Sr 805 in Amber or a 1205 ...great sounding great looking ...
I do struggle with the neck as I have big old butcher hands .....though like any bass find one and try ...

Cannot believe this is still here ...I have dropped so !many hints to my better half about buying this ..she's not taken the bait ..we do have a house rule for bass's and handbags of "one in one out "!..(handbags are not mine)...

Sort of looking for this set up on a jazz or precision style of bass .....

I'm gassing for a new bass..I've tried a Ibanez sr1205 today ...loved the pups which were norstrand soapbars but struggled with the neck ..beutifull looking ..then spotted fender modern player great looking in Matt black with a maple finger board Loved the feel of the neck and sounded awesome to ..I know mayones do a jazz bass with fitted on a model and spector have there coda but it's huge money that I can't afford at the moment ...any ideas ...anyone ?

Looks stunning mate ...saw the black one in pmt on Saturday ...dare not try it ..I wouldn't be bothered by where it's born either , cannot see how you could justify the best part of 1500.00 to 1600.00 for a usa made fender nowdays ...

Really fancy the Amber 805 or the 806 ... Ever got on with the 4 string because of the slim neck ..tried a fiver and six in pmt , my opinions changed ...

I've never seen a euro in the flesh to compare ...I did have a cheaply spector a few years ago ...was euro shaped but not so rounded on the body ..never seen one like it since ..weak pups though ..(sorry mate I'm not really any help at all )!

My rebop had quite a chunky neck which I liked ...but must admit balance (small body) neck dive did put me off ...though beutifull looking. would be interesting to know the diffrence in body size on the euro as I loved the growl ...
