1. Amazing cabs these bad boys. I am a DB112 user and when I tried these out I was impressed on how good they sounded and how light (compared to the DB112) they are. GLWTS mate! I would have them if I could!
2. It is a shame that the 12V outputs only have 100mA of juice, it would have been great to power up a Nova Modulator...
3. Oh my... at last!!! ALLELUYAH!!!
4. Hi all, At last my COG Custom arrived the other day. Tom is an amazing guy and his work is incredible, but I guess you all know that by now. Check it out on his custom page: http://www.cogeffects.co.uk/octagrit.php Cheers!
5. Always wondered how this pedal sounds... I have only seen the youtube vid so I could not get the whole picture. Seems an interesting pedal. GLWTS mate!
6. GLWTS Javi! Both look amazing. Buena suerte!
7. Lovely bass mate, what are the pickups in it? Are they the Aero? GLWTS!
8. You can use any 9v Power Adaptor (i.e 1spot) with the Distributor to power your pedals. I do this with a small Pedaltrain Nano that has a Distributor under the board and I just hook the 1spot. It works great, no problems. Hope this helps. Cheers!
9. I played some of Alan's basses at the London Bass Show last year. Amazing instruments! Alan is a very nice guy and knows what he is talking about when it comes to bass guitars. GLWTS mate! Lovely bass!
10. I have got an Octave/Drive pedal with super cool graphics on the way too!
11. I just got myself a Pedaltrain Nano for a few fly gigs that I need to do and it is super small. I have set up an Aguilar Octamizer, Fuzzrocious Rat Tail, Line6 M5 and a TC Ditto looper and they fit perfectly. I also have a Mission Engineering mini expression knob thingy on the board and on one of the sides I have added a small buffer from JHS. For powering purposes I am using a GigRig Generator and a Distributor that fit nicely under the board. The fully loaded board does not weigh anything and the gigbag is nicely padded. Now I can fit my pedalboard in my suitcase and still have space for my own stuff. Those Diago Commuter's look realy light too and are worth a try. Cheers.

Feedback for Harry

Just recieved an Aguilar Octamizer from Harry. Great chap to deal with. The pedal was well packed and it arrived as agreed. Would deal with Harry again without any doubt. Cheers.

Xmas FX
I've heard a few people say that the Sonar is a PN-2 killer , would like to A/B them. The Idiotbox Mad Dr is also a worthy contender! Si
I think the same. The PN-2 will always be great for hard chop, but the Sonar has so many added features (tap tempo, multiplier, machine, the Delta control...) that it makes it very versatile. Copilot FX have another tremolo worth checking out, it´s the Polypus and it offers cool tweaking on tap. But I´m not sure if it´s good for hard chopping purposes.

Xmas FX

I got myself a Z.Vex Sonar for Xmas! I was looking for a cool tremolo that could do hard chop andhad tap tempo but wasn't a 1 trick pony. The Sonar is amazing, the ammount of stuff you can tweak on it makes it quite versatile, and I love the multiplier on the tap tempo.

Malekko Diabolik

Thanks for the review Gaz! It's a really interesting pedal and JMJ is one of my favourite players when it comes to effects (and Juan Alderete - The Mars Volta). I'll have to try one of these out !

Malekko Diabolik

Hi Gaz, How's the Diabolik? In the video it sounds really cool. Cheers
20. The new TC Electronic HOF pedal is quite cool too. It is a scaled down version of the Hall of Fame, very small footprint and with the ability to change the type of reverb and/or customize it with their app. My friend has one and it is a lovely little thing to have on your board, and if you get tired of the sound you just change the reverb to another one and you are done. Hope it helps! Cheers,
21. Hi everyone, Has any of you tried the new Beta overdrive pedal from Canadian mannufacturer SolidGold Fx? http://www.solidgoldfx.com/shop/beta The demos give you a good example of what the pedal has to offer. Seems like a good mild overdrive to spice up your basic tone. Let me know what you think. Cheers, Byron.
22. Sibob and Left Foot are totally right. To get the full benefit of using the MeatBox you need to run it through a PA with decent subs, or run it through a separate amp with a speaker capable of delivering good subs without farting out on you. Remember it is nicknamed the Speaker-popper! LOL Check out Juan Alderete´s (The Mars Volta) web site, on this link he talks about the MeatBox: http://pedalsandeffe...usive-meat-box/ Juan Alderete and Janek Gwizdala love their MeatBoxes... Hope it helps! Not much practical info on these around the interwebs...
23. Hi B´Chatters, I was wondering if any of you have a TC Electronic Nova Modulator and gets a nice choppy tremolo out of it. I have managed to get a very nice chopping effect, but it is lacking the attack of the great Boss PN-2. If you have any suggested settings, please let me know. Thanks for your help!
