And I suppose not all bands are to everyone's taste - I liked all those in the list regardless of musical content, but maybe that's not the idea?

The 2 previous owners deny making any repairs or hearing a problem with the cab. Could this driver have left the factory in this state?

I would be interested to know how it sounds playing reggae style, with the treble and mids cut on the amp, solo neck pick up and tone rolled off on a Jazz bass. I am considering these cabs with an LM11 for my reggae band [size=4] [/size]

It's good that they've introduced an alternative colour and I hope they continue with more options. I sold my CV Jazz because I didn't like the bright white finish and I wasn't keen on the plasticky finish. I also couldn't get on with the electrics - the knobs were too loose, making adjustments while playing too hit and miss. The pick ups were ok, but not great and I couldn't seem to get a deep vintage tone from the neck pick up. But the neck was brilliant, with great fret work and a joy to play.

Bass was DI from markbass LM11, little bit of compression in Cubase and that's it. Jazz bass, neck pick up, GHS precision flats.
