  1. I had a ehx bass big muff pi and that was pretty good. Not sure if that's your thing but I thought it sounded fat and fuzzy Next would be boss fz5 with clean blend

  4. i would listen closely to the tracks you want to emulate and try to emulate them. look at the patterns and shapes to see where they go and pick it apart to analyse and recycle into your own style

FS- Boss Bass Chorus CEB3 - silver label taiwan im pretty sure you know what this does anyway, lovely rich stereo chorus with clean blend/ filter- to target treble strings or full range, adjustable rate/depth good condition, some glue residue on the underside from where i tore the velcro off in a fit of rage no box or manual, keeping those is SAA-A-AAD. £35 all in delivered to your door PP gift pls dont really use it anymore, need to raise funds for ibanez bass off another BC'er i have an boss super octave oc3 for potential sale too but im not sure whether i want to let that go just yet..
  9. get a second hand petrol generator* /cheap bass combo / mixer / 4 way extension. *if you have a car then just a power inverter gig from your boot.
  10. Some are ok, some are crap It's a bit of a roulette really, just have to keep spinning the wheel until you land on a good one.
  11. pickups yes, alternatively, change gauge of the E string to something lighter..
  12. i used to work for a courier so when i put my gear through the network i will ensure that its packed to survive a war... just sayin.
  13. poker 50w combo - probably from the late 70's (poor and had no money) absolutely dreadful, it fell apart after the third rehersal could barely fart and when it did, it literally turned inside-out!! thank goodness for my TE GP7 or TC BG250, ahh sigh of relief.
  14. As topic suggests .. Are there many pedals out there with a GOOD DI out? Is there much point to them? Are they of any good use? I saw the deluxe big muff has DI out but many said it was a bit crap and pointless The only decent application I can see for DI is for amp simulation etc like sansamp BDDI etc.. Pointless on fuzz and distortion etc But is it? And are there other good examples out there ? Maybe I'm wrong or not?
