1. If you are learning then I wouldn't worry too much about it to be honest. You'll probably be doing more damage than good..
2. Yeah I had bsy600 Super fun to play with. It's a boss clone as suggested!
3. Yeah as others said. Eq is solution here. The compressor will just make boomyness more apparent !
4. WUB WUB WOB WOB Maybe synth pedal like digitech synth way or boss SYB5 / SYB3?
5. Bought an iPhone off Ian for my gf Arrived the next day! Super easy to deal with and a genuine nice bloke! Thank you once again! All the best Tony
6.
Definitely not this one. Valve circuits are so established at this point there is nothing new to be done. Plus the circuits are incredibly forgiving to bodgery, often people find them to sound better when completely bodged (see Marshall).
Pass. I'll just stick to my SS TE combo lol
7. Interesting topic I just thought its because they sound better and require more engineering to sound right...
8. I have the bg250 It's nice and light. Packs a good punch for the spec. Very modern sounding amp with the mod cons
9.
A tuner
Yeah I would have both TU3 and LMB3 together There's no one pedal ... Unless multi pedal
10.
Alternatively, you could superglue some perspex to the top & bottom of the amp (once it's removed of course), allowing you to see the inside whilst you're playing (something to do whilst the guitarist is doing another solo).
Perspex. I like.
11. Yeah happens to me sometimes if I'm playing something really robotic.. The mind begins to drift .. Of at the same time playing something which has lots of changes... Generally speaking it only really happens if there is no formulated structure.. A song that lasts for more than 6 minutes.. A mistake might happen!
12. Bought a LS2 Off Chris (thornybank) over the weekend, arrived Monday !! Great guy to deal with, recommended ! Thanks!
13. To me loud is when you can feel your organs shaking and eyeballs trembling. I had that when I was playing through my trace Elliot stack. 1x15 300w + 4x10 300w chained together. Now if I DI'd that as well ...
14. go for the 8ohms, you wont need that much power, if you did, just use the DI
15. Yeah end result will be about 15-18% loss on sale As bad practice as it is, I always beef up my postage of an item to help alleviate some of the fee.
