1. Que? Quinta esta??? I'm really looking towards the £300 region Unless I cull some of my equipments...
2. Ref the TC BG250 toneprint thing ... Is that any good ? Has anyone used it with success ? Also what's it like at higher pumped volumes? Is it a bit farty or does it hold its own?
3.
No... a musician without transport is not a lot of use if you are gigging.
Pretty much.
4. Bump for a great piece of kit. It clears mucus and colds so it is a two in one solution. Yes it's heavy but it's the tone... The TONE
5. Sometimes but mostly I would take my own gear... You know where you stand with that!
6. Yeah I was thinking... The 1x15 for the lows and the 4x10 for mids... I'll try when I get back from holiday and see what happens! Just hope I don't blow myself up!!! The line out from the 1x15 should be ok! And try the two outputs from the ceb3 method too..
7. Cool I heard bad things about red sub ... Are they crap? Or ok??
8.
Stereo FTW. One combo each side of the stage. I probably wouldn't put the 2 combos near each other.
Why's that then? I can stacks them???
9. Thanks the replies guys appreciate it ! I have trace Elliot rig now.. ! Heavy but it's really loud!
10. I have a TU3 but I run a limiter right after it as I don't like the peaks of my playing... At the end of my signal chain is ceb3... I could run out of the two outputs into the two combos?
11. Just checking before I try it! The 1x15 has line out so ill put that into the 4x10 ... Active or passive?
12. Greetings.. Probably a daft question but will go along with it anyway.. I've got a 1x15 300w combo + 4x10 300w combo Can I run both of these at the same time? Should I? If so, how? Line out? Tuner out? DI out? How does it work? Will I end up blowing myself up?? Or will I end up with a 600w(?) stack? Thanks!
13. Not done this before but here goes... Trace Elliot 1514 cab 1x15 speaker 200w / 4ohms 1980's, original British manufacture. Classic Trace Elliot. Should only be used with AH150 amp but can be paired up with an <200w amp @ 4ohms Great big beast of a cab, comes on castors, in good condition for its age It is massive so you would ideally arrange to have courier or large car to move it!! Its about 30-40kg I can arrange to have courier at cost, or feel free to arrange one yourself/ or collect it! I am based in Southampton area
14. Dorset is lovely place ! Nice drive area What's wrong with that?
15. It will soon diminish... You will get GAS again... It's part of the bass package

17. Boss CEB3 it's got a blend pot and cutoff threshold pot as well so it can target treble strings or the full range. Great chorus pedal. Does exactly what a bass chorus is supposed to do. And it does it well.
18. Silly violin bass and animated eyebrow aside, I really like McCartney bass playing. Shame much of what he was playing in the early 60s is lost in crappy fidelity recordings. You don't fully get to hear it. Especially on the live stuff. The studio remasters are good but I want LIVE.
19.
I don't particularly mind relics, but only if they're done well. The biggest mistake these people seem to make is to distress the bodywork (badly), then leave the hardware pristine and shiny. Shows a lack of imagination and attention to detail in my opinion...
This. And the 'pristine' fretboard as well hah!
20. Yeah the enhance thing on it only makes the signal sound 'brighter' Then again, yes. If your signal sounds sh*t then yes it will make it more apparent ! Hah!
21. Just EQ it on the recording. Like Peter hook once said.. You can't polish a turd.
