1.
I also have one of these, it does wobs. Quite well. Only real problem I have had with it is the switch often doesn't want to turn off, so I use a bypass looper to flick the whole chain off, problem solved. If you have tracking problems, stick a boost or a fuzz in front of it, and it behaves itself a lot better. As for the expression pedal, it would be useful, but a quick tweak with your hand will get the speed you want if you're skint, like me.
To solve the switching off issue, take the battery cover off, it's the little rubber 'poker' thing that sometimes misses the little button thing. Stick a rubber foot on the end of it or something to widen the footprint so it doesn't miss the little button thing. !!
2. How do you like your steak? Extra medium?
3. I've got the chorus now! Muhahaha.. Tuna will be with u tomorrow me ol chap. Woo BEERS
4.
In my experience, and through keeping eyes and ears open, I'd say go individual. That way you can choose the fuzz/overdrive YOU like best and same with compressor etc. it's pretty rare to see pedal boards with ALL the same brand pedals in, you mix and match to suit your sound. A multi is a great way to get lots of effects for one price, but the risk is you may like some but not all the effects you bought it for. Besides its a lot if fun buying, trying and selling on different pedals!
It's not that rare
New setup [Img]http://i.imgur.com/0WCPvs2.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> [Img]http://i.imgur.com/GiMqasS.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> [Img]http://i.imgur.com/s0UyEUz.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> Yeah. 5. My playing style is very sloppy. Although I own a precision bass hah!
6.
And the main reason for the rehouse - to remove the stupid lip that makes sticking the pedal down an utter nightmare! Dimensions of the pedal (excluding the lip of of the top)... 123mm x 65mm x 33mm. I can loose the battery compartment, as long as the battery snap is left stowed inside the unit so it can be put back in the original case in the future. That would reduce the length from 123mm by 20mm or so.
why not just shim it? how many mm is the 'lip'? no need to re-house the whole thing??
7. polytune bargain- very good tuner
8. if i get the gas itch, i plug in and rock out
9. I would try single effects because you can mix them up and get the exact sound you want... Multi fx usually will have a great x effect but will be let down by crap y and z effects ! Depends what your price range is and how much effort you are prepared to invest into it!
10. Bought a mooer blade micro pedal from dan - top bloke really easy to deal with no problem Doodilicious!! Thank you dan all the best dood!
11. Wow bargain alert !! Had the bass driver before, get some good raging sounds from it!!
12. Feel the rage!!! Bargain
13. Yeah the pitch box sounds a bit mucky on pitch shift mode. The detune mode is really good though. I'm running through a 3/4 precision cheap copy but it plays lovely! 60w combo through headphones( I live in a flat with children either side of me) Would be interesting to try it out on a massive high powered rig. I think I would probably blow the doors off LOL I'm waiting for a chorus to stick on the end of the OD then my life is complete I think! Noo more marketplace !!! My wallet bleeds. Constantly.
14. Noooo octave down! I only use the octave for the low end... Turn that off and the bass sounds thin and whispy lol I do turn the octave off when I have to do intro or strumming as it gets confused and sounds all manky..
15. Yeah! The pitch box I might stick between the OD and noise gate if I want a slight detuned sound I think I might keep the pitch box for my guitar setup though.. Makes a nice chorus sound!
16. The octave splits off into two signals.. The clean signal goes into the overdrive The mixer puts them back together into one signal ! It's a cheap LS2 basically... With built in reverb/delay which I never use...
17. New setup [Img]http://i.imgur.com/0WCPvs2.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> [Img]http://i.imgur.com/GiMqasS.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> [Img]http://i.imgur.com/s0UyEUz.jpg" class="ipsImage" /> Yeah.
18. Get a behringer bsy600 bass synth pedal, it's a boss clone pretty much and you can get one for like 20-30 quid Just as good
19. Yeah I'm just using a 4 channel soundlab micro mixer. Powered by 9v dc Cost me a tenner. Yeah.
