1. "we got you in to sing. do your job or f**k off"
2. Depends how good or bad the synth sounds... The octave should technically duplicate it either an octave or two below the played note So if your synth sounds crap...expect the octave to sound crap too...an octave or so lower haha.
3. I would simply run an octave with some overdrive Maybe a 60/40 blend to octave.
4. I've got both polytune and TU3 Both great tuners..love them both so I would choose either. Both built like tanks and accurate. Both track very well and I can safely say I won't need to ever buy a tuner now!
5.
might be worth running it behind a compressor if you can just to smooth the signal a bit (this is just my thinking i may be talking bollocks)
This does work. By boosting the signal, the OC can 'hear' it better
6. I've got GR5 on my main machine, love it. Simple to use and is literally plug and play. Very little wires and messing to get a good sound. Fun to mess and experiment with.
7. Cheap and cheerful behringer pedals will do it. The ultra octave or something If it breaks, buy another one ! Cheep as chips!
8. Think this has been solved but I would choose either OC2 or OC3 gotta love the boss sound
9. I love effects. Can't get enough of them. From a touch of overdrive or octave to a mashing of everything. Wetter than a fish. My favourite.
10. oc2 is probably better as its analog rather than digital like the oc3 so i've heard... i like the oc3 as its got a distortion module built in the tracking is better too....
11. from a few years ago...as crap as it may seem..
12. tape them up if you dont need them, simple as. edit: ohhh vintage boss bass pedals...
13. couldnt find a topic for BC user rushers bought an OC3 from him, arrived fast and well packaged, excellent comms and nice guy to deal with! thanks James all the best buddy!
14. bought a TU3 from matt, arrived safely and prompt! great comms and genuine nice guy to deal with! thanks again matt! all the best buddy
15. Don't get in a band where you are the only mobile one... Musicians are typically poor. Therefore transport is some what of a luxury ...
16. Yes good question. I have a similar dilemma. The ehx big muff pi has two outputs. Wet output and dry output. The dry one useful for sticking an octave at the end if it and running it into EFX send. Obviously the wet straight into the amp... How do I do this more efficiently? Or is that it? ??
17. Play a different instrument if you can. Might not be a bass day. Maybe a guitar or piano day
18. Same my voice rather thin. So lead vocals will sound crappy! Backing I'm quite happy with. Just a different sound really.
