Hello there ! I am wondering where to get a replacement pickguard (10 holes) for a Fender Custom Shop Precision bass. I called Fender but I feel like the two persons I talked to didn't even understand my point. I also searched the web but besides companies that offer custom pickguards I could not find anything that is directly available to order. I am looking for a cream/black/cream pickguard. Does anyone in here know a source where to get that ? Thanks in advance Dan

Ha, I was so tempted to buy it from them since the price was quite good - I think 1.399 GBP or even less? - but then "someone" was faster

Did you get it from Andertons if I may ask?

I am looking for a purple L 1000 or LB 100 at the moment which is pretty tough if you don't want to place an option order that takes 6-12 months at the moment. The availability of US made G&L basses in Europe is quite poor. I own a purple L 2000 but I want more G&Ls in my life

Hello ! I woud like to offer my recently acquired US made Spector NS-2 DW in Black Stain Matte. I bought this bass a few days ago from the firsst owner but since I don't seem to get along with the neck profile I would like to let it go again. This Spector was built in th US Custom Shop in 2019. At this point Stuart Spector was not involved in the building process anymore so no signature on the back of the headstock. According to our baby scale this bass weights 4 - 4,1 KG. It is equipped with EMG pickups and the famous HAZ labs electronics (9V). The neck has a Doug Wimbish profile which means it has a width of 38mm at the nut and shape that I would describe as a "U". Fretboard is made from a lovely piece of Pau Ferro. Body wings are made from beautiful quilted maple. As you can see on the pictures it is finished in a beautiful black stain matte. There are hardly any signs of use so conditionwise almost new. To my ears the sound is very modern and hi-fi ... exactly what you would expect from a pair of EMGs. Included is a high quality Spector Hard Case and a set of Dunlop Strap Locks. THe bass is strung with a set of 50 - 110 Rotosound and tuned to D STandard (DGCF) The bass is located in Munich / Germany. You can pick it up or I will send it to you but be aware that shipping is quite expensive (DHL within the EU --> 60 EUR) I only want what I paid so my asking price is SOLD or whatever this is in GBP for the bass incl. costs of shipping within the European Union. Please be informed that I don't/can't accept payment in GBP. I won't go below this price so please do not try to make lowball offers. I might also consider trade (+cash) offers. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Daniel

Thank you for the nice comments If you live in Germany you can come by and test it vs. a US made Spector NS-2 in Munich. You will see that that this Warmoth is on par with the Spector in every aspect except for the weight and the pure mass in front of your stomach Played dry (yeah, not important at all but I want to mention it anyway) the Warmoth just totally kills the Spector. The W is much more resonant and almost makes your belly dance like one of those Ab belts that shock your muscles with electricity I guess that this is because of the bolt on construction and the chambered body of the Warmoth ?

You are absolutely right. The thing is that I absolutely want at least some eye candy with my instruments. I saw that Forte on BD as well and I would have immediately bought it if the top had some flame going on. Now I was offered this beauty here and it is very hard for me to resist buying it
