  1. Hi guys, Can anyone think why my pedal might be so noisy?
  2. Hi all, Does anyone know the cheapest, smallest footswitch that I can buy so I can scroll up and down loops on my Boss RC3? Would something like this do? https://www.andertons.co.uk/hotone-ampero-external-footswitch-pair-for-ampero Thanks
  3. Thanks Higgie!
  4. Hi all, Apologies if this has been asked before, I just can't figure out how to get my Disaster Area DMC-3XL to control my HX Stomp. I want to use it to scroll through presets, so I can leave the Stomp on the effects screen so I can turn off individual effects within the preset. This is my setup: Also, is there any way to remove the tap tempo setting from the last switch, so I can use it for an effect?
  5. Thanks, is that just for one? Do you have to solder two together?
  6. Hi all, I'm trying to find a downwards-pointing right angle midi cable, have been searching for 30 mins but no luck. It's to be used in my HX Stomp and DMC.3xl, the 5 pins go along the bottom. All the right-angle midi cables I've found would have it top-pointing
  7. That looks great! I've saved it so I can buy some if my solution ever fails. (Also I didn't know I spoke spanish O.o)
  8. Disaster Area DMC-3XL Gen3 midi controller - basically new. Price includes postage. Updated with latest update, can be used to control HX Stomp Source Audio C4, Zoom and many more devices.
  9. Ibanez SR900 TKF for sale, great condition. One-piece neck thru construction, Bartolini pickups. 2005 model manufactured in Korea.
  10. Hello again all, So all was working great with my Digao power supply... Until I added the C4 Synth. Now there's a lot of noise unless I power that separately. I guess now I'm back to square one and need to find an isolated PSU, as you all originally suggested. Below is my setup, I think the HX Stomp alone draws 1A (it came with a 3A supply). Reading back through the thread, the max total current out of all the PSU's suggested was only 2.5A. Do you think this would be enough to power these pedals?
  11. Haha yeah I think I've done the same thing, I hammered in a couple of wall plugs and drilled a screw into them. Seems to be holding pretty sturdy actually
  12. Well I tried to follow this until i realised it was for a different kit... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOhcSCOg-z4 Now I have two holes in my pedalboard with bits of metal rattling around inside it, and no way of attaching the new feet
  13. Hi all, I purchased this but it came with no instructions https://www.andertons.co.uk/cioks-mounting-kit-pedaltrain-mounting-kit-ckptkit?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=surfaces&gclid=CjwKCAiAv4n9BRA9EiwA30WND83QedIphOHFjLLN1Tmo9cIHz665JtGcOhlfTOe4Ir8SzukpoGdnJRoCqmIQAvD_BwE Does anyone know how to install it on my Metro 20?
  14. Thanks, I'll be trying both out in a couple of days. I remember trying a MM Sub a long time ago and not particularly liking it, but I think the reason being was that it had pretty heavy strings on it. The neck did feel quite thick though, compared to the Ibanez. I also like to have the 2-octave neck when soloing so not sure how limiting the 21 frets might feel...
  15. Hi all, I'm thinking of upgrading from my Ibanez SR500, which is my first and only bass for the past 10 years. It's been great and I love it, but fancy a change. I play a lot of fingerstyle funk rock and aggressive slap (RHCP/RATM style) I've currently got 2 basses in mind: Ibanez SRMS800 or Musicman Sub/Stingray 34 I'm leaning more towards the Ibanez because I'm used to it, like the slim neck and 24 frets, but it's a fanned fret so I'd need to try it out first. All the reviews I've read say that they get used to it really quickly, and it actually feels more natural... Which do you think would be the better buy? Thanks
  16. Well i went for the MeloAudio EXP-001, hopefully it's compatible with both pedals
  17. Thanks for the reply, I think I've narrowed it down to these 5 so that's a point for the Dunlop MeloAudio EXP-001 Dunlop DVP4 DOD Mini Hotone Bass Press AMT EX-50
  18. Hi all, I'm looking for the smallest expression pedal that I can use with both my HX Stomp, and Source Audio C4. I have extremely limited space on my pedalboard so looking for one that's short & thin. I also read that only certain pedals are compatible with the Stomp? I'm not sure about the C4... I've found the Hotone Bass Press and Dunlop DVP4 to be quite small, but not sure about compatibility Thanks!
  19. Zoom MS50G guitar multieffects pedal Good condition, comes with power adapter It can be easily modified to be able to use any effect from the MS50G/MS60B/MS70CDR https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ul-BYkV3PSk
  20. If it's supplying enough current and is fitted with a 3A fuse, what's the harm?
  21. Hi all, The power adapter from the stomp seems different to my standard daisy-chain 9v supply. Is there some kind of addon that I can buy so I can use my existing power supply? Would something like this work? I'm not sure whether it is center-positive or negative... https://www.amazon.co.uk/Ex-Pro-DC-Adapter-2-1mm-Female/dp/B004FZ050G
  22. Zoom B3 for sale.....SOLD Good condition, pedal needs no introduction. Comes with 1.3A power supply.
  23. I've gone with a Hx Stomp
  24. Hi guys, I can't decide how I'd like to have my pedalboard... I've currently got a Zoom MS70CDR, but also has lots of effects from MS50G and MS60B on it. I also have a Zoom B3 but don't use it anymore. Tbh, I love the MS70CDR - I think it sounds really good, is easy to use and has tonnes of effects. The only things that aren't great are the octave/synth tracking and distortion. So that's why I was thinking about getting a Boss OC-5 to solve the octave problem, and a Darkglass to solve the distortion problem. But after realising how much I'd be spending, I'm now wondering if I should just sell the Zoom and start again... I play a lot of funk rock, RHCP-style stuff, mixed with heavier tones like RATM and Disturbed. The Zoom does this pretty well, I've got the bass tone from Chameleon dialed in perfect! It also has loads of great ambient and modulation effects, like the envelope filters and sequential filters etc. So I guess my question is, can the HX Stomp match the Zoom in terms of quantity of effects, for bass? I've heard it's great for guitar but not amazing for bass
