There's a thought - I've got a slightly tatty but very light MIJ P-bass that would do. Half an hour with a chisel will install a J pickup!

I am looking for a trade for a 70s Precision Fretless (in this forum) at the moment if that's of any interest.

Does anybody want to take a stab at what replacing the Wal pickup would cost? Presumably the electronics have been changed too?

I'm wondering - seeing how this was a charity gig - was this part of the charity thing. Not that it's really my business, but I wonder how it got from the charity to the OP. Did Lemmy sign it to be auctioned off for the charity or something?
