1. Another great transaction with Gerry. He really is one of the good guys!
2.
Best strings on a rickenbacker 4001 alert! Try it once and you'll never go back mwaha ha ha ha
Best strings on any bass I think I have them on 4 now. Love 'em! Anyway, these are now sold...
3. Bought these for my new (old ) 51 Re-issue P bass, but due to delays in them arriving, I fitted D'Addario Chromes instead. These are brand new JF 344 (43, 56, 70, 100) long scale - same as I have on a couple of P basses. Cost me £38 plus postage last week. Selling for £27.50 inc postage. Cheers Mark.
4.
Could I get a photo of the bridge please? Is it nickel? Thanks.
Hi Yes, it's nickel. I'm in the office at the moment so can't take a pic, but it's exactly the same as the one shown in the link below: - http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&source=web&cd=2&ved=0CBwQFjAB&url=http%3A%2F%2Fde.wikipedia.org%2Fwiki%2FDatei%3AFender_51_Precision_Bass_Bridge.jpg&ei=oNKCTvnjGonD8QPD-u0J&usg=AFQjCNFSqpYHF0SEHUCaVJski5RvSxGZ1Q Cheers Mark
5. Couple of parts from my Fender Japan 51 RI P bass for sale, as follows: - Fender Japan 51 Reissue P bass pickup - £30 inc P&P Fender Japan 51 Reissue bridge - £15 inc P&P Both in excellent condition - only selling because I got hold of an original Telecaster bass pup from the BassDoc, and had the bridge replaced with a Wilkinson one at the same time. Would trade against a nice leather strap (Levys or similar). Cheers!
6.

Now there's a bloody surprise
7. Did this get sold outside of eBay? I liked the look of that one...
8. I just bought a Zoom drum machine from Rasta, and it was hand delivered all the way from the South West to Solihull free of charge - now that's what I call service! Top bloke and very quick response to my questions. The drum machine is immaculate, and a good price, too. Highly recommended chap!
9.
That's me using the Alembic on the 'Chicken Song'! Dont laugh, it reached number one here and all over Europe
I've got that bl**dy song in my mind now. Thanks for that
10.
Ooh yay! Thanks for the heads up.
Looking at your profile, we have pretty much identical musical tastes. You're in Cov and I used to live in Leamington, and you joined here on my birthday. You're not my secret son are you?
11. Apologies if this has already been posted, but for anyone interested, iTunes has the new RHCP album "I'm With You" available to stream for free. Just giving it a listen now...
12.
Yes mate, still for sale. Wish i had more time to play with it but a toddler dictates otherwise, the sounds are really good.
In that case, you have a PM
13. Can I please order 3 too? Not fussed on colour, but XL would be great. Cheers Mark.
14.
Am I going mad or has the price of this changed?
Yeah, I came back to consider buying it, and noticed that.
15.
Brilliant basses....cant see the pics at work...damn work!
I second that - I got one this week, and it's an amazing bass. The EQ is so flexible, and the build quality is stunning.
16. Gavin and I agreed a trade (couple of my basses for his MM Big Al), and as he's in Edinburgh, and I'm near Warwick, we had to do it via courier. Well, he sent the Big Al even before the courier had collected the two from me, and it was absolutely immaculate - even better than described. He's since received the 2 basses from me, and is very happy too, so everyone's a winner. I think with trades like this, there's a certain level of trust required, and Gav is definitely someone I'd deal with again. Couldn't have gone any smoother. One of the good guys - cheers Gav! Mark.
17. I just bought a butterscotch 51 Re-issue from OHM, and it was immaculate. This one looks ace with those upgrades - good luck with trading it.
18. These have now been traded, and will be on their way to sunny Edinburgh in a day or two. Thanks for all the interest.
19. Just sold some La Bella Jamerson's to Mike. Good guy - paid instantly. Highly recommended!
