I bought these earlier this year for a teaching qualification I was doing as part of the final year of my BMus.
They're all in excellent condition.
Grade 1
Grade 2
Grade 3
Grade 4
I'd like £7.50 each which includes postage, or we can haggle for more than one .

The Hall of fame is really excellent. You can download 'tone prints' off the TC website. The Steve Lawson tone print is excellent.
It depends on your budget, I used the Neunaber Wet for a time, that was really nice. I'm currently using an Eventide Space, which is more of a multi-effects, the reverbs are amazing. It's expensive though.

That guy's such an absolute idiot. Can you imagine it ? Someone from the crowd hears the firing, sees someone with a gun and opens fire, shooting someone else with a gun, who'd only drawn his gun to shoot someone else who'd drawn his gun because he'd seen someone else..................

Wall wart power supplies are at best a nuisance and having to use an adaptor with one because it's the wrong model isn't going to make it any more reliable.
I was under the impression that UK consumer law requires electrical goods to be sold with the correct mains plug fitted, which means that at the very lest DV247 should have supplied a suitable adaptor with the device when they originally shipped it out, like Thomann do. However what they should have done is to supply a proper UK power supply with a UK mains plug on it in the first place.
My concern would be that this unit is actually a grey import (after all if it was a legitimate UK model it would have come with a proper UK PSU) and that should anything go wrong with it the OP may find themselves having serious problems getting it put right under warranty. Personally I'd be getting in touch with TASCAM directly and finding out exactly what the situation was and if I didn't get a reassuring answer returning the device to DV247 for a refund.

I wouldn't have thought that a company like DV247 would be selling grey imports.

Glad you could get one, all the sensibly priced tickets for Nottm immediately 'sold out', quickly followed by the daft priced ones. Of course they didn't really sell out, ticketmaster just offloaded them to sister company 'get me in' so they could then relist the cheapest original tickets at twice the actual price. Needless to say, I'm not going to support such a corrupt system. There's apparently a pair of very good seats available via get me in for £708 per ticket
Shame as Jeff's one of those heroes that I've never got to see perform live. Oh well...
These things are a total rip off. Some friends of mine went to see Steven Wilson at the RAH recently. I think the tickets were £30 or something. That's amazing value for what was a spectacular gig.
My uncle wanted to see the who a couple of years ago. The cheapest ticket was over £100.
How much were the 'cheap' tickets here anyway ?
This is a 3rd generation, in excellent condition.
A really great, compact 2 octave USB controller keyboard.
Includes the original box.
Lots of knobs and sliders and things.
£40 including postage.

The question i was asking is not based on using your full 500w. What i am saying is with manufacturers offering a 200w and 500w versions of same amps at the same size then why would you go for 200w hoping it will be loud enough rather than 500w and cover all bases
No I'd go for the 200w version. I'm guessing it'd be cheaper, and possibly smaller. I simply don't need any more power, and size is important because I like to travel by train.
I started a thread a few weeks ago asking why bands/guys play so loud nowadays.
Why would you want something ridiculously powerful when you're only playing in small places ?
My only amp is a 75 watt PJB Double 4 combo. It's plenty loud enough for my jazz gigs. Anything more would be totally pointless.

Yep, Super Long strings aren't easy to find in stores, i get the D'Addario Super Long for my 35" bass from Thomann. I use to buy in bulk to save on shipping charges.
Normal long scale D'Addario's fit my 35" Modulus.
If he's not replying then you'll just get your money back. I had a similar issue with something on eBay.
This just backs up my personal decision that I won't buy an instrument if I can't collect it in person, unless it's from somewhere reputable like bass direct.

Hmm interesting - I don't think I've ever come across another bass player who didn't like Bernard Edwards..... I was merely pointing out he probably didn't use that technique on many of their (Rogers/Edwards songs).
LOL, .
I'm not really into funk and groove, stuff like that.
On tracks like Happy Man, Everybody Dance and Dance Dance Dance this can be clearly heard. However he didn't always do this. Notice how close to the bridge he plays on the video (sadly his last performance - and using the Stingray - and sounding exactly like himself despite illness)
I erm............don't actually like anything he's done , not my thing at all.
I was just repeating something I heard about at uni.
