1.
Not just some of the best music I've ever heard, but some of the best bass playing ever recorded imo. Anthony Jackson on the first (his bass playing is just so wonderful) and Marcus Miller on the second record. can anyone tell me what record Willie Weeks played on.?
I love Anthony Jackson, his playing is amazing on everything. I don't like Marcus Miller though. Anthony Jackson did a lot of playing on a really early Chaka album, who's name escapes me now, the playing however was quite simply sublime.
2. Don't give up by Peter Gabriel. Probably featuring Tony Levin.
3. Aren't round wounds generally like that to some extent ? Are you using nickel or stainless steel ? I find nickel to be smoother. Or try a coated string.
4. Have you played a 5 string before ? That's an awful lot to spend if you haven't.
5.
I think I need a decent tab which shows the rhythm and the music and somehow i'll work it out!! Its a horrible piece to learn!!
Like I posted above ? 😊
6. Help me pay for my masters type bump 😊.
7. I have Portrait of Tracy somewhere too. Had to do it at uni. Whereabouts are you ? I have no use for the book that this is from.
8. Is this any good ?
9.
Have you been listening to them whilst wearing ear muffs?
No, but I like to hear the notes, the sound I like obtain ranges from cello like to acoustic classical guitar like. Something I couldn't get with other types that I tried. They were absolutely fine if you wanted to sound like James Jamerson, but I don't. A lot were also very high tension, particularly the D'Addario Chromes.
10.
Probably my favourite band of all time, I keep discovering new things in their music. . Its got immense groove and technically so complex on another planet really!!
Hence your user name . Have you seen the Joe Zawinul 75th birthday DVD ?
11. For flexibility I'd go for TI's. They're the only flats that I like, most sound like you're using rope or something, plenty of thud and nothing else.
12. I bought these earlier this year for a teaching qualification I was doing as part of the final year of my BMus. They're all in excellent condition. Grade 5 Grade 7 Grade 8 I'd like £7.50 each which includes postage, or we can haggle for more than one . See my other advert for more grades.

14. The Hall of fame is really excellent. You can download 'tone prints' off the TC website. The Steve Lawson tone print is excellent. It depends on your budget, I used the Neunaber Wet for a time, that was really nice. I'm currently using an Eventide Space, which is more of a multi-effects, the reverbs are amazing. It's expensive though.
15. Up.
16.
Donald Trump managed to weigh in too......... http://variety.com/2...uns-1201640791/
That guy's such an absolute idiot. Can you imagine it ? Someone from the crowd hears the firing, sees someone with a gun and opens fire, shooting someone else with a gun, who'd only drawn his gun to shoot someone else who'd drawn his gun because he'd seen someone else..................
17. Bump.
18.
Wall wart power supplies are at best a nuisance and having to use an adaptor with one because it's the wrong model isn't going to make it any more reliable. I was under the impression that UK consumer law requires electrical goods to be sold with the correct mains plug fitted, which means that at the very lest DV247 should have supplied a suitable adaptor with the device when they originally shipped it out, like Thomann do. However what they should have done is to supply a proper UK power supply with a UK mains plug on it in the first place. My concern would be that this unit is actually a grey import (after all if it was a legitimate UK model it would have come with a proper UK PSU) and that should anything go wrong with it the OP may find themselves having serious problems getting it put right under warranty. Personally I'd be getting in touch with TASCAM directly and finding out exactly what the situation was and if I didn't get a reassuring answer returning the device to DV247 for a refund.
I wouldn't have thought that a company like DV247 would be selling grey imports.
19. Uk and European electric supplies are the same. So you just need an adaptor to fit uk sockets.

ELO

It's not very good really is it ? I mean it's a lot for the average fan to pay out of their pension.
21. I've used them loads of times, and always found their service to be exemplary.
