In fact thinking about my order from them, I placed the order on the Sunday and it arrived on the Tuesday. Pretty good service in my book.

What annoys me is when you are very specific about yourself and what you're looking for, but still get classic rock and blues bands contacting you 😁

I bought a pedal from their Amazon shop in January. It arrived within 48 hours.

Slightly off topic, but I've been approached by a new member on here a couple of times offering me items that I have wanted ads on for. He even accepted a silly offer as long as I pay by PayPal gift. A friend at uni was also offered something by I think the same guy, going from the area he lives in anyway. I think you can become complacent sometimes.

I guess a cab with 10s will sound clearer than one with 15s.

Don't ask on here, seriously. You'll get loads of different answers, all well meaning, but based on what others would look for. The best thing is to go along to a shop or shops, and try as many as possible. There are 2 reasons why people buy a 5 and then sell them - 1) The buyer thinks of it as a 4 string with an extra string, the B therefore just becomes a thumb rest. 2) They buy the wrong one. There are lots of variables, string spacing, neck profile, neck width etc. You may find one with the perfect width, but the wrong profile neck etc.

Isn't there some EU law or something about amps having to have speakon connectors ?

Maybe that stuff that you stick under rugs to stop them moving on wooden floors ? Or perhaps pedalboard velcro.

TC Corona would be my choice, have you checked the TC website and listened to the downloadable tone prints ?

I had a 5 string one, and I tried a friends really old Pre-what-ever 4 string one a few times. Personally I've never gotten on with them, they've just never sounded right when I've played them. My friends bass sounds amazing when he plays it, but totally different when I do.

I think there's a guy who plays Chapman stick uses a similar Bose rig. Sounds like a really nice set up.

What battery do you use ? My dad bought some totally useless ones recently from wilkinsons, they wouldn't even take one photo with his camera. A Duracell lasts maybe 3 months in mine, it's got a John East pre, I use it maybe 3 hours a day.
